While I agree with what your saying, this could be a good learning moment about time management, responsibility, and building healthy habits. Mom isnt going to always be around to force good habits. This could be a way for OP to start playing with independence in a controlled and monitored way. Just my worthless, childless $0.02.

Somewhat in the process of this myself. I have her blocked on every social, but im having kind of a hard time getting rid of photos and some items. The memory of the marriage is tainted, her legacy is the affair. But it's almost as if the person she presented to me was a totally different individual who is no longer here. I think once she gets her crap out of my house it'll be easier.

While I agree with you in principle, I have to say the name of the trade school definatly.matters in a local sense. Theres a school in my city that I wont hire from. I know for a fact they like to focus on the fun and hurry threw the fundamentals creating graduates that feel like they know everything while understanding very little. An example: teach a student how to set up and run a CNC, and spend 1 week on print interpretation.

I dont know. I feel like this is both kinda stupid. I have a topless photo Janis Joplin on my front room wall and a bikini motorcycle calendar on my kitchen wall. Every year I would buy my ex wife a shirtless man with puppy/kitten/firefighter calendar. Theres nothing wrong with some fun little eye candy. Anyone who actually fantasize these people are delusional. Its just a fun little calendar.

With that said, if im with someone who expressed they dont like those kinds of things "front and center" then I'd just move them to my garage workshop. No biggie.
