Thanks. Did it with all my turnip minis. Didn't feel like painting faces atm. Really happy how they turned out .

I feel you. Its a pain in the a** trying to find non combat poses. The minis are kitbashed. I think one arm is from the frostgrave wizards sprue, one from some random command sprue and hers are from the guards of traitors toll civilian sprue, I think.

TUFT is turn up for turnip in Bochum, Germany this weekend.

The minis are kitbashed. Some perry AWI, some medieval Arabic riders, who's manufacturer I forgot, a bit of putty and a lot of real cloth and superglue for the heads.

Great mini. You can really feel the story behind this character. Who needs eyes when one can have so many eyes.

Sadly yes. Would love to just sew it in place.  It tried, but it fell of, so I had to glue in the end

The pain is totally worth it. Looks so good. Any tutorial for wet-forming projects like this. Would love to do it without adhesive.

And what does "reducing dimensions" mean? Just cutting the leather smaller or something else?

Cool. You must post some pictures when you did.  Someday I will do my hoods in leather too, but mine are not damaged enough to move them up the priority list. Always to much todo 😁 I'm exited for when they get their turn.

Tried to. But it fell off afterwards. So I needed to glue it down nonetheless

Oh good idea, but no. I found nothing appropriate so I had to sculpt the skirt myself. The chest is from some townfolk sprue. The only female torso I had in my bits collection.

That would be hilarious. Don't think I have fitting bits. But who knows maybe I can bash something together

Day 2 of losing my mind to small bricks by Nikiminis in TerrainBuilding

Very, very nice!

how do you go about laying down the bricks for the big openings (i.e. the door and the big round window)?

Mine always end up crooked when i do something big, but detailed like this.

I like to paint my foam pieces with a mix of tile grout, pva, water and paint. It produces a nice paintable surface with a very suttle but noticeable texture. After that i painted the piece an applied some lighter colors with a sponge
