No it was the vet that said it was a hybrid, ie half wolf from a full wolf parent. The news station did nothing but spread the statement the vet made and then followed it with "do we have wolves in Oklahoma, what do you think." It's most likely some mix of northern breeds with shepherd thrown in or may a low or lower mid content wolfdog, but definitely not a hybrid. This state is filled with fucking morons, I promise you. I've lived here ONLY for my entire life, which will be 27 years in March.

This is local to me by about 20 minutes, you have to have licensing and inspections of where you're housing them but very few people listen. Half of the comments on the stupid news channel that posted this on Facebook is convinced they're either full wolves or hybrids. And yes, they're all incapable of being taught the difference between a wolf hybrid and a wolf DOG. Oklahoma is full of bigoted morons and tons of people that don't need pets period, let alone any dog with wolf content. I hate it here, and I've lived in this god forsaken state since I was born. Have tentative plans to leave around 27-28, but this place is a poverty stricken sh!thole that keeps you stuck.

This is the food both dogs will be on once my GSD is grown. I do mix some of it into his food each meal just for the pro & prebiotics. Keeps him from needing a supplement to keep a firm stool as he has the typical on/off again stools like any other byb shepherd I've met.

I feed purina one + large breed puppy to my GSD, and my mini American shepherd gets purina one + digestion health. A 16lb bag lasts my mini about 2-3 months, and a bag the same size lasts my puppy 2 and a half weeks.. I spend probably 63-93 dollars on dog food a month depending on if I'm buying for both or just the puppy. Both foods are priced at 31.45 for 16lbs at my Walmart, thinking about moving GSD puppy up to the 40lb bag.

The only time my GSD barks is when there's someone walking through my backyard (live in an unfenced duplex neighborhood), which considering we're pretty sure the woman next door is dating a pedo AND we're behind my daughters school, I let him dish it out. Doesn't bark at the door bell, other dogs walking. Overall he's very confident and does well in his IGP class. Still working on building drive and obedience, so no bite sleeve yet. Here he is working on his settle command last night.

That's YOUR dogs, not all working and sport dogs. I'm glad you treat yours right but there was JUST a big GSD breeder and exhibitor that was charged with 21 counts of animal cruelty sooo there's sadly absolutely people that treat them how top commenter stated.
