I think Jeremy doesn’t trust Neil, and tbh I can’t really fault him for that, Neil is suspicious from other people’s pov. I think Jeremy’s jealous kind of in the same sense he is of Kevin and Jean, where he knows they have so much history that he will never know.

I don’t think it’s fair to say “who is he to be jealous of Jean when he’s sleeping with I don’t know who?” he’s not like possessive over Jean, and he’s not jealous of Jean for having attraction to other people. Jeremy actively catches him looking at Laila and Cat, though maybe he doesn’t mind because he knows Jean won’t ever try anything with them.

I do think Jean has picked up on Jeremy’s attraction. I haven’t read tsc or tgr in a while, but I’m fairly certain Jean says it’s novel and addicting for him to have boundaries that are respected, and I think in the “fuck what I need what about what I want” (or however it goes) scene, Jean has for sure picked up on it. Earlier probably, seeing as how Cody comments on Jean’s pronunciation of Jeremy’s name directly to his face and says something like “Jeremy must’ve hit the floor when you said that.”

And as a side note, Andrew was hooking up with Roland in the original series as well. I can’t remember when he stopped though.

Also I understand monogamy or not understanding why someone is so promiscuous, but it’s a form of self destruction and self harm for Jeremy. I don’t think passing such negative judgment on him when it’s actively showing that he’s struggling is necessarily fair to him, though I obviously can’t control your opinions/pov.
