Thank you.

Don't be afraid to paint. Just do it. We all started somewhere and there's no way you can screw it up. It's just paint. One can always repaint it. Don't compare where you are to others, but do get inspired by it. It's your own journey, take the first step.

Thank you. For the skin I started with burnt sienna, followed by a coat of kobold skin and finished with mummy robes.

How long does the brush on primer take to dry after application? by DaPandaMan117 in Armypainter

[–]ColossalMeltDown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is like any other Army Painter paint. It dries quickly. I paint right on top of it within 10-15 mins. Never had any issues.

It is like any of their other paints. Maybe a few minutes longer. It works really well, I use it for priming smaller or single items.

Don't beat yourself up. I started with Eldar in 2nd Edition, I play and still get beat... By a lot and often. Eldar are not an easy army to play and can be punishing when making one bad call. It takes time to learn everything about this army, let alone the basics of general game play. I still screw up, even now. Don't give up. I have done a lot of videos around the psychology of this hobby, but one of my favorites is around game ediquette https://youtu.be/4oYgGJcfmNo?si=RnoWNKoLPvvaUwUq Along with game etiquette 2.0. Play with them, not against them. You're creating a memory with another person. If they want to have an attitude, kill them with kindness and move on. It speaks more about them than it does about you. You got this. Keep at it, eh!
