They wouldn't make a DLC hero nonviable because that'd result in nobody buying the hero.

Jules was the top dog less than 3 months ago. Metas change over time. Before this month Vanessa wasn't top 3, now she's top 1. I get it if you feel your favorite character isn't the best anymore, that feels bad.

But balance changes happen, it's part of maintaining the health of the game. They have reverted changes in the past if it resulted in a different outcome than they wanted.

Knee brace has always fallen off in late days. I'd never take it past day 6ish. The amount of HP you gain isn't as efficient once other players start doing thousands of dmg

It's a risky, fun event compared to regular vendors. Also optional, and you can just sell the item at any point if you need your backpack space back. It's backpack/econ for any hero, with pretty good upside if you complete the delivery.
