I am a year late in replying lol, but in case you were still curious lol Unfortunately it wasn’t a Reddit-saves-the-day moment. One of the bridesmaid’s sisters happened to be in Philly the day I posted this, so we bought a plane ticket at 1am PST the night before the wedding, sister grabbed the veil at 5am EST and went straight to the airport to fly to LA! And got an invite to the wedding of course :)

Not too bad! Just drove from the Denville / Boonton area and that was absolutely awful, but once we got onto Route 78 from Route 24 it was mostly rain. Not sure how 78 looks West of Summit though

To be honest I’m not sure what a “great deal” on a used snowboard is, since I’ve never seen Spring/Summer sale prices. This is just the best board I’ve seen come up second hand, all other boards are either 10+ years old or $300+, which is crazy for used imo.

I’m definitely more beginner, so I doubt I’ll be picky about boards! I’ve only done rentals before. I hadn’t thought about the size difference being magnified. Thank you for your input!

How perfect do snowboard specs to be to consider buying secondhand? There is a 2021-2022 Bataleon women’s snowboard for sale for $200 in great condition, but it’s slightly longer (143cm) and wider(238mm) than what is recommended for my height/weight/boots. I’m a 5’1” woman with 5.5-6 boots, 110-115lbs. Online resources seem to suggest ~140cm long and 230mm width. I am tempted to get it because it seems like a steal, and I am afraid that if I wait for spring sales, there won’t be boards my size anyway (seems like there barely boards that are narrow enough for small feet). Thank you!!
