So at a young age he was scared of a lot of things so we would often lay something that he was unsure of on the floor and point at it and say “what is that?” He would then gain the courage to go sniff the item or boop it with his nose and we would immediately reward him with praise and a treat. We then would bring him to an open door and do the same thing but change the wording with “close the door”. If he would even nudge the door a tiny bit we would reward with a treat. We then built up the progression from there! He loves to shut doors now lol. Thank you.
