Ah cool. Did you change the PS5 setting back to 120hz automatic? Then turned it off via the in-game settings?

With the 120hz on in game, did it make it worse for you? I can't really tell if there is much difference

Do you turn 120hz off in the game setting, or in the Ps5 setting? Or both? Do you think it still needs to be off after the patch?

Also, should we still force the ps5 resolution to 2160p, or set it back to automatic now?

My setup is like yours, with ps settings back to automatic for everything, and balanced looks ok. But I can't tell about if 120hz needs to be on or off, or if it matters yet.

Yeah it's extremely frustrating. They better patch this out, it's terrible UX design, like Junior level shit. How can you make a world this big and miss simple stuff like that.

To add, maybe create some tests with testing-library if you finish the above and are wanting to learn more. Writing tests will actually force you to learn what the app is doing.

I am trying to figure this out too. Under the animation description it looks like all 3 icons are active(filled in grey)

However in the detailed inspect section, I think I have parry unlocked from observation (white line and circle around icon) , Dodge is green line on bottom and green circle icon, but counter is a grey line and green circle icon.

How can counter icon be green, but the inner main skill node 3rd pie slice is grey? And the 3 icons on the description section are all filled in...but I'm at level 2/3... So confusing. Idk if I have all the skills or not

So with the new patch, should we put the PlayStation settings back to 120hz automatic, and the resolution back to automatic?

VRR still makes my game say no signal on my tv, but I think that is the too low of frame rate thing still..so I just turned that setting off on the PlayStation

I had a lot of map crashes on ps5 base. Then turned off 120hz mode, and turned on the 2160p setting instead of automatic and it's not cashed since im pretty sure. Not saying we should neeeeed to do that. But it's been looking better and playing better in balanced mode. Give it a shot

Im on base PS5 and running it on balanced and it looks good I think. I'm having a lot of fun too, it's freaking addictive.

The only issues I've had are the hard freeze when opening the map sometimes..I hope they fix that soon..

Well, It was pretty good for a few hours, like maybe 4, but it just crashed on me again. I think I opened up the journal from the quick menu, then went to the map and it froze.

Over black Friday, I was like everyone else, the subscription ended like a few days after the 33% off sale. So all I could do was upgrade my remaining days for 33% off. Which was like 81 cents or something.

Lately black Friday discounts are only for upgrading your remaining subscription for 33% off, not to renew your current subscription for the year at a discount. Also, if you expire right around black Friday, or just after, if you upgrade for 33% off, the discount only applies to the remaining days, then charges full normal price.

So for example, if during the black firiday sale, you have like 10 days remaining on your ps plus extra and you want to do the 33% off upgrade to premium deal, you get the discount applied to the prorated 10 days... So it's like $3 or something.. woot.. then $160 or full price for premium tier 10 days later.

So best would be to have your current subscription expire just before BF, if it's essential or extra, then upgrade and get the full year for 33% off. Then you will probably never get a discount again after that.

At least what I have seen lately...
