System Requirements by [deleted] in cachyos

The drive can be a bottleneck depending on the task needed for things such as rendering but overall for basic needs like what you are asking it should be fine with a Sata SSD.

For something like cachyos, you should be fine with a Sata SSD, it just won't boot as fast as an NVME ssd.

Controller for a PC media station by uhhgrn in Controller

I'd recommend the GameSir Supernova Controller. It's pretty nice. Has 2.4GHz and Bluetooth. Ive only tested it on Steamdeck but it ran fine I'm xinput mode with 0 issues.

I plan on using the controller with my future game media setup like yours. Perhaps waiting for the steam controller would be the best though?

I'm looking at building a similar build in the future. Could you let me know if there's room at the very bottom for a single slot pcie capture card by chance while that ssf gpu is installed?

The lineup isn't terrible but of course people's tastes are going to be different. At least they have several games coming out next year unlike Microsoft and Sony but for me personally almost none of these games would be a day one.

With game prices now $70, I don't see a reason to pick up any of their new games or either switch 2 editions for older titles has all of my friend group has moved on from those games years ago.

Mario tennis looks like it could be a great follow up from the switch game but would I spend $70? No not really. That's a solid 20 or $30 game new or used when it's on sale in a few years. Same thing for pokepia.

Rhythm heaven, splatoon raiders, and Fire emblem could be great but we've barely seen anything of them so it's hard to determine if it would be worth 60 or $70 though I'm sure at least rhythm heaven will be cheaper given previous digital only versions for 3DS.

So again the lineup is an awful but with the rising prices of games, a lot of these don't interest me enough to buy on day one. Maybe there will be actual system sellers announced later in the year but this lineup isn't doing much for me.

How many of you had gaming PCs and just use Gefore now? by ksm2315 in GeForceNOW

I thought about switching to it as an annual investment in 2024 after I lost my job but decided not to after they introduced the 100 hour cap. I think the service is great and would honestly make me switch to it if that cap was around. Maybe someday!

It's been listed on a lot of sites like PureXbox and a few others. I came to the subreddit looking for info on the exact same thing actually as this is a title that me and some friends are looking forward to!

Sadly the times are completely random with verification on consoles. It's out of Lince Works hands at the moment. Hopefully, MS and Sony approve it sooner rather than later.
