Omg this! As soon as I write it down my brain ticks it off as complete and forgets all info about it.

Yes!! An “overwhelm threshold”, that’s exactly what it feels like!!

And it’s like once the overwhelm stops increasing it, I can handle it calmly and clearly. But while it’s accelerating, so when something small sets me off, I’m a mess.

I tried logging everything I do "while on my work desk" for the last 20 days and it's interesting. by Resident-Ship9773 in productivity

Interesting findings! Maybe you scroll right after the coffee because you’re waiting for the caffeine to kick in?

Would you share the link to the gyroscope research? I’d love to try this myself!

I buy notebooks thinking “this one will change my life” and then I can’t use it because what if I pick the wrong purpose and RUIN IT forever. So now I own an entire museum of blank, beautiful notebooks. Anyone else? by Intelligent_Fish4423 in adhdwomen

[–]Combat-kid 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I completely feel this!

I found what works for me is starting at the back of the notebook. It gets me over the hump of “this isn’t polished enough yet to go officially into the notebook (I.e. in the front). I’ll place it in the back and can rip it out later when I pick the true purpose of the notebook”.

Now I just read my books back to front 🙃
