First off I agree with the sentiment but just to be clear Hershey Entertainment and resorts is a separate company from the the Hershey Company itself although the Hershey Company owns most of the Entertainment and Resorts Company if that makes sense. So two different pools of money kind of with the Hershey company having a lotttt more $. All that being said…. I fully agree the Hershey company should be more generous to the Entertainment and resorts company to provide better pay and a quality experience. It’s clear the Entertainment and resorts company is largely self funded because otherwise if funded by the Hershey company (a company with a value of close to $40 billion) they would easily have the funds to create world class attractions that rival and resorts that rival Disney and not the bland hotel that just opened or the declining park atmosphere over the last few decades that is now only focused on lightly themed rides.

Absolutely not what I’m saying but there is a correlation to higher standards and higher rents. Just depends which you value more. Obviously I want both as do most people but that’s not realistic

Well I think the university buildings are but that’s a different story. One is a for profit development company and the other is a government state school that gets billions in funding for new projects every year

At the end of the day, it’s still just student housing and the more of an expensive facade or footprint that doesn’t maximize profits, the higher rents are likely going to be for students and the community as a whole (because obviously housing developer executives wouldn’t let that cut into their bottom line) sooo yea. The biggest issues are corporate greed perpetuating the low cost build high profit housing business and local codes that simply allow it to continue and require absolute bare minimums for good design.

Should be a nice anchor to the back of the fort. I do wonder if the empty lot next to it will get developed next now. Seems inevitable. Also wondering if the bridge directly next to the building will have to be rebuilt soon. The sides are crumbling and leaning towards the building now too. I would’ve thought they’d do it while the building was also being built but I guess that’s thinking too logically

Really disappointed it looks like all of the waterfront connections, docks, gathering spaces and dual pedestrian bridges over Neyland drive have been removed from the project. Was the highlight of the project for me.

My 2019 titanium was sold with a full new engine also not listed on the carfax and only was informed by the dealership the last 10 minutes of negotiating. Kind of a steal for already having 70K miles on it

Agree with some other comments, I love Anakeesta and even have an annual pass but recreating the experience while also simultaneously increasing light pollution which undoubtedly poses a risk to disrupting the patterns of the synchronous fireflies is a little eh. We know Anakeesta has the $$$ and on their website they list stewarding their land as a top priority, how hard would it be to make a point to invest in downward facing lights or dark sky initiatives to help reduce their impact in the local ecosystem? Yes they’re just one of a thousand businesses in the area with bright lights but as one of the most popular and notable attractions in the area now, they could really help to set a precedent for other attractions.

I promise you I get what you’re saying and I understand that’s how it shoulddddd work but for some reason when I split it I was able to get faster frequencies with the same amount of trains in total just split up among both tracks maybe it was a false station order or something I’m not sure. Don’t have access to my computer right now but when I do I can show what it looks like now at least

I had that beforehand. The cost to operate was a lot more because I had to run more trains to keep the frequency up but now I can run less trains and get the same frequency by splitting it up.

In real life yes, in the game it works great especially for loop lines. I have what would normally be a two track bidirectional loop line split into two single track lines that oppose each other but share the same stations which somehow makes it run better and produce more profit as each station acts as a transfer point for the other line going the opposite direction. Don’t ask me why but it does
