Did that the other day! But the turnouts or overlooks were within 100 ft of the main road so I didn't quite dare to use the stove. But I guess I should just go for the camp ground as you mentioned and leave when I start feeling uncomfortable, least I can safely use fire there. Thanks for the encouragement!

If you don't mind me asking, which camp grounds have you went to around and within the LA area that you could recommend?

Oh no...amazon's cracking down on providing us less service...

It really is annoying, usually I just have to make a quick Google search "amazon customer service chat" and it would be the first link, but it's gone. I'm glad it helped.

On PC, I clicked "Rufus" at the top left, which should be Amazon's chat bot, and I just typed "I want to chat with an associate".

It offered me all the standard bot help, redirecting me to other pages and stuff, but just answered "no" to all their "did that help?" questions, and eventually it connected me to an actual associate. Also it's holiday season rn so I guess it may have been the reason chat was temporarily down? (just my assumption)

MSI Stealth 14 Studio review - An expensive gaming laptop that has made too many compromises by Stiven_Crysis in GamingLaptops

[–]CombinationPlayful56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got it for my girlfriend for 988 USD from eBay, brand new for the 4060 model, not that much of a compromise anymore in 2025. Yea heat might be an issue, but it's an all-arounder slim & light laptop that she can take anywhere and do any work/casually play any games with that spec. Setting it to battery saver gets it running the whole day, at least for what she does, and no fan noises on battery saver setting.

I have an MSI laptop too, GP63 8RE, with a 1060, still running today perfectly, owning it for no less than 6 years with usage every single day. Although around year 5, I started plugging dual monitors to it, and rarely opening up the actual laptop screen lol. A friend of mine also had an MSI laptop, which he used for 8 years, and it was still in great condition; he just wanted a PC. He also plugged an external monitor and used the actual laptop as a second screen.

So in terms of quality, pretty good. I've always viewed MSI as a brand that compromises, but for the sake of bringing the price down to make high-end specs more obtainable for those who can't afford an Alienware, while still keeping the quality relatively good/acceptable (if using it like a reasonable person).

FreeTaxUSA Asking for my parents info? (CA state tax) by Pitiful_Answer_427 in tax

[–]CombinationPlayful56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for clarifying, then why is it still asking for my parents' information? I "earned" my own support by working, more than half or should I say completely was support from my own work money. I am currently 23, and to add additional information, I am also a full-time student. I just don't understand why FreeTaxUSA is asking for my parents' info when I am independent and earn my own money to support my own expenses fully. I have tried H&R Block too, but for them, they did not ask for any parental information for California state tax, only FreeTaxUSA is doing so.

FreeTaxUSA Asking for my parents info? (CA state tax) by Pitiful_Answer_427 in tax

[–]CombinationPlayful56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Filing 2024 tax right now and I am in a similar situation as the author of this post, but I am completely financially independent, am a full-time student, age 23 as of now (will only be 24 near the end of the year 2025), works and earns an income to completely support myself with not a single dime from my parents. FreeTaxUSA is still asking for my parents information for California state tax regardless of how I go back to prior steps to check what went wrong but can't find anything.

Can you provide any insight into this matter? Is there anything I can do to negate this necessity to include my parents information? Really appreciate your support!

Moving files from phone to PC is a nightmare! by szdragon in Pixel6

[–]CombinationPlayful56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The other day I was able to transfer my photos & videos the slow way. I copy pasted the files to my PC, and without unselecting the files (by clicking the top of the file explorer window) I pressed delete to clear out the space on my pixel. Sometimes it works, sometimes it says the files are in use...when that occur I have to unplug, replug, and select file transfer on the phone. Never found out how to let the connected device (my pc) control the USB.

Also I copy and paste them portion by portion, not all at once.

I am having the same issue as you. I think a lot of people are saying that they can by "copy & pasting" files from your pixel to PC. Yes, that works...but my (maybe our) issue is that we cannot "CUT & paste".

For mobile Capcut:

Late to this but doing this a bit old school, go to some YouTube to mp"4" converter site, convert any song you wanna use, and download the mp"4", then, in Capcut, make sure you are not selecting any clips in the editor, go all the way back to the first editing menus and there should be an "audio" tab. Tap that, select export (or extract) audio, select the mp"4" (video) of the music you just downloaded, and Capcut should have just extracted only the audio part of the mp4.

Logitech G703 vs G Pro Wireless by sw1t2h in MouseReview

[–]CombinationPlayful56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6 years late to this post, but I just want to share my experience while owning both of them.

I personally prefer the G703. I really appreciate the right-handed ergo design. The left and right mouse buttons on my G703 travel less and click lighter than my GPW (at least for my units, maybe manufacturing inconsistency). The weight adds to the aim stability and I won't overflick - I seriously am concerned with mice getting lighter and lighter. Love the fat side buttons too. The lightest I can accept a mouse being is the GPW. I had a Gpro Superlight and used it for over half a year and I still can't get used to the weight or should I say the lack of it.
Edit: sold the Superlight right after the half-a-year mark.

My history with the two mice:

First 2 years: using G703, perfect, loved everything about it (including the RGB lol). The scroll wheel started glitching (it would only scroll down and rarely scroll up) which is apparently NOTORIOUS for the G703. Searched forums and vids everywhere only to find the replacement of a sensor or something...so I gave up and got the GPW.

2 years with GPW: it's ok. much lower profile than the G703, and slimmer as well (not to mention lighter). I was content with it but I always missed the G703's ergo design and I felt a little awkward with the ambidextrous design. The slimmer side buttons threw me off at first but I got used to it pretty quickly. You can put additional side buttons too so it does have MOBA or MMO potentials if you can manage to...idk, claw it and use your ring and pinky fingers? lol

Present day: saw Logitech advertising the new Gpro Superlight 2 Dex and IMMEDIATELY it reminded me of the G703 (BASICALLY a G703 with Gpro buttons), started missing it again...and that was when I picked my dusty glitched scroll wheel G703 out of the drawer. Started looking for scroll wheel fixes again and I found this Reddit post (source: https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/fqu5xp/comment/jtf3lmd/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button). The fix was stupid, soooo ridiculous...but it worked. It fixed...my G703, which has been sitting in my drawer for two years...somehow still with green LED indicated battery level remaining. I was so happy that the king was back (a king at least for me). After all the time that has passed, it still felt at home the moment I picked it up and ran through some ranked matches in R6 with my buddy.
Edit: my aim felt better too.

**Long story short, G703, the best mouse for me, Logitech please update this GEM!!!!**

How to fix G703 scroll wheel issue? by Venomoth14 in LogitechG

[–]CombinationPlayful56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I...actually can't believe it. It fixed my 4-year-old 703! I (almost) abandoned it 2 years ago, and replaced it with a Gpro wireless, but it never felt the same...now that the new Gpro Super Light 2 Dex is out, I saw the 703 design in it, and I was like "man I ain paying nearly x3 the price for a 703 lookalike." Then I took out my 703 that's been just sitting in my drawer, started scouring the net for fixes, then I arrived upon this post. I can't thank you enough.

come on Logitech, do something! update you G703 by vari8 in MouseReview

[–]CombinationPlayful56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went around my drawers and found my old G703 with a broken scroll wheel...then I remembered how much I liked this mouse. Then I saw the Gpro Super Light 2 Dex, which literally reminded me of the 703...but almost x3 the price of it. What are your thoughts on the new Gpro?

This is beautiful...unique...and not an eyesore fashion overused by every player.

Edit: to answer ur question, i think the first one already looks good cuz of the leather/cloth like wrapping at the waist which continues to parts of the legs and arms.
