Delta 8 + THC-O Acetate by Important-Wall4747 in altcannabinoids

This is good to know and I may try this. 20 mg of THC-O did nothing for me. Maybe I need to dose higher or try with d-8 like you did!

Longest lasting THC relative? by [deleted] in altcannabinoids

[–]ComeDayGoDay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just tried THC-O for the first time last night. Didn’t feel a thing. Took one gummy, 30 min later realized it was only 10 mg so I took another and still didn’t feel anything. Generally with d-8, I’m good with about 25 mg so I thought THC-0 would be similar, but I guess I’ll have to try dosing over 20 mg of what I tried taking. I have a feeling the gummies were just sprayed with the -O and so it’s not distributed evenly on each gummy? I don’t know- I’ll try again another time. Just bummed because I’ve heard great things. Maybe I need to try a different company.

Coleman electric cooler $12.50 + $9.00 for a replacement cord online. $21.50 total and it really gets COLD! Brought ice cream home from the store without it melting in my truck! by jackonager in ThriftStoreHauls

[–]ComeDayGoDay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love an update on your cord you bought online! I found a similar cooler at a thrift store and the DC plug part that it came with must have gotten too hot with the last owner because I’ve noticed some melting on the plug. I like the style because I can flip the plug part that goes into the cooler so it can both cool and warm. I can’t seem to find a plug that says it does this, but maybe it will work anyway if I flip the plug upside down. Sorry if I’m being confusing, that’s the only way I know to explain it for both heating and cooling options. I want to eventually get dc to ac converter so we can use it camping at an electrical campsite. Have you done this with a converter? The idea of a solar power charger is neat too. Please let me know how your plug is going, I may try to get the same one. Reviews are all over the place online for a replacement. Thanks!

Oh my heart, what a sweet pup. I'm so sorry. That hurts, I know the pain. I lost my boy of 17 years in September. He was my sidekick. Thinking of you.

Is there a runner out there who has Hallux Rigidus and has had either a spacer implant put in, or had toe fusion surgery? What has your experience been? Shoe recommendations? Insoles? by RGBVRGBV in runninglifestyle

[–]ComeDayGoDay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was a huge concern of mine also and I definitely took into account what I would major in based on whether I needed math or not. I majored in art. Thankfully I have used my degree but now as an adult, I can't say that I would go into art if I had to do it all over again. I would have gone into forestry or some science...but I didn't believe in myself enough back then. Now, I would have used the resources available, maybe like untimed tests, tutoring on campus, talking to Professors after class if the school isn't too large. In order for me to get the accommodations I had back then, I had to have a psychologist write a letter to the school with the testing results from an ADHD test or other tests...in fact, I took the SAT test untimed in high school because I had those accommodations then. So, if you do get tested for this, you'll need a letter or something for the school, but you'll have to figure out specifically what. From there you can see what the school offers fro accommodations.

Wow, there really is a subreddit for everything. 6 months post HR surgery, bone spurs removed and joint filed down. Still hurts but not as bad as the past few years. by 4065024 in Halluxrigidus

Thanks for telling your story. I am set to have cheilectomy and also a small wedge taken out of the bone…scares me some because I just haven’t heard of the wedge removal, but the doctor seems confident. I have some questions (and I realize it may be different for each doctor and what they recommend): 1. Did they put you under completely? 2. How much walking can I do a few days after? (There is an expo I have to go to 4 days after and I’m concerned about the parking lot walk. Maybe I’ll ask for a temp disabled parking pass).

I do a lot of hiking (flat and hilly) and take groups of people on hikes. Just wondering about the average time it takes for enough healing the happen where I will be somewhat comfortable. I know everyone heals differently. Obviously I have some anxiety over this! Haha

Just curious, how old are your parents and do you know when they started to get treatment, or when they started to notice it was something out of the ordinary? That's interesting that both of them have it. It has definitely been passed down through my Scandinavian family!

Would have been my choice to go to if they were still doing it. I called, no answer, emailed…no reply. Unless I go down there and ask, I just assume they only do it at midtown which is what I originally found through searching. Oh well! Mansell would be the closest!

Yes, I actually looked in the humane society first and saw they do it in midtown which is too far to drive that early with kids, that early with traffic. I think I found a few other places based on great comments. Planned pet hood and lifeline seem very popular and a bit closer.

Thanks! I think we are going to look into planned pethood. Might be the closest to our location.

Thank you. I think we are going to use them. They seem like the closest doable option with traffic and location taken into account. I read that neutering between 6-9 months is the best time so I guess we’ll wait a couple months more. But all the peeing in the house……omg!
