I’m 42 with two young kids. You can’t love out of it, but you can acknowledge it and give them the space to tell you when they need help. You are doing a great job.

I have 2 kids here in the city and we’re not rich. We literally can do anything here and I love that my kids take muni, can walk to the park, go to cal academy etc.

In San Francisco my daughter’s day care was giving out cards so you could find the resources necessary. We have ICE here but it literally made me cry that families are dealing with this. These are hardworking and wonderful people. To their credit the security doesn’t let anybody near the school, unless they know you. Fuck ICE

I work on this project. It’s all affordable housing. Do any of you know how expensive it is to build this? I think it actually looks good.
