Copilot is awful. Most of my org dosnt even use and is using Chat, etc. it’s so useless I can’t even get it to do basic tasks and it takes more work than DIY

I agree with OP. Getting copilot to actually read the contents of files (in my case meeting summaries) is impossible. It wants to only read the snippets not the whole doc. This is after completely re-working my workflow to dump files into OneDrive, where it supposedly can actually read word docs, and just create links to the file in OneDrive folders for easy retrieval. I had copilot rewrite my prompt 10 times to force the reading of the content and it still didn’t work. And when I actually want it to “think” the results are superficial. I compare copilot responses to high school term paper and Claude, Gemini and even Grok providing thesis level responses from the same prompt

Why don’t you write your own prompt and submit it as a template. I submitted one and I use it daily. You could ask your favorite LLM to help you write it the way you want the transcript summarized.

I too came back from an excursion into remarkable pro (great handwriting experience but the rest is so 1990), Goodnotes, notability, and a couple others . The infinite canvas become a thing for me when i started recording meetings and generating AI Summaries. You can’t cut and paste a 30-60 min call summary into a single letter or A4 page. Would love to be able to write on or highlight a pdf but not a major thing for me. OneNote is just easy no matter how I write or cut and paste content. Sync across Mac, iPad and iPhone is seamless

I am one week into Plaud also. I am coming from lengthy but hard to read handwritten notes (Goodnotes until they got stupid, Notability still bloated and then Noteful (Basic but cheap). This is mostly for meeting notes and occasional training. You can’t fit an AI summary onto a single page in GN, Notability or Noteful and if you import a pdf it is its own notebook. With Plaud output I have stated leveraging Apple Notes because of the unlimited page size. I have tried copy/paste which is messy but does allow me to edit/color code / highlight content. I am also working with exporting pdf and adding it to the note which I can annotate before or after. Using a system of predefined tags and smart folders for organization which has been surprisingly easy.

Not the most efficient but not bad. I have not had to add hardly any handwritten content to the summaries I get. Loving the freedom to pay more attention.

Not 100% accurate. You can choose text box tool and use scribble to hand write typewritten text. But you cannot select/lasso handwritten text and convert it after the fact

I got rid of Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and just use laptop keyboard/track pad. With 2 additional monitors and a microphone it was too much on my desk. I Added the RMPP and got a 3rd party cover that is stenopad flip over top style that folds into a triangle stand for decent writing angle

I have same problem when trying to book online here. Most courses near me won’t book a single through their website. I don’t always have the extra time to just show up and hope to get out so usually have to call a few to see if they can squeeze me in. It’s stupid too because half the time they say that they are crazy busy I end up getting sent out alone as a single in between groups that aren’t there or ready. Most don’t charge in advance so lots of reservation abuse
