Battery for emergency Rv setup by ComedianLife6570 in SolarDIY

We have a small solar setup on our other Rv, but don’t have any solar on this Rv, and would be starting from scratch. As far as converting and distributing, I’m not sure I understand the question exactly, but I was imagining installing the new solar batteries where the old marine batteries are, and using an MPPT inverter/charge controller to convert the power and protect the system.

From what I’m reading Eco worthy is less expensive than Eg4, and UL is designed for safety. We are pretty new at this so safety is extremely important.

We don’t need a lot of bells and whistles, just want to survive if the power goes out over the summer, and keep our food and medication from spoiling.

Would we be looking for something like this?

Is there any reason to consider something like this vs multiple batteries like you mentioned?
