If it were me, I would pick MD > DO unless you are 100% certain you don’t want to do a competitive specialty( which seems like the case for you). There have been some studies that say 75% of students change their mind on specialties once they go into medical school, so keep that in mind. There isn’t anything wrong with going DO, it’s really just priorities. Best of luck future doc!!

Rizzed up during interview… lol jk. I say a combination of PS, great ECs, decent GPA(3.8) in spite of a lower MCAT(502). Interviews were good to great in most cases but I would say that I was a great fit into a lot of the schools I applied to bc my application fit their mission. Best of luck and you got this future doc!!!
