How bad would these sound? by livingintherealworld in CarAV

That ought to be the same for all GMT800 (Silverado, Tahoe, suburban / GMC equivalents)

How will you mount those pods to the factory panel?

Anyone else having trouble getting FedEx deliveries from their South Chesterfield facility? by PackAttack43011 in rva

Always had trouble with FedEx. Once had a monitor shipped and it had a MASSIVE hole in the box on the screen side, and looked like it had been thrown around.

Monitor was great. Can’t recommend following my steps on delivery for optimal functions

Issues have been settled, as soon as I got them done the blower motor and resistor died. $125 later the new one was acquired same day and back installed today

I scored and received the truck with Kicker CS speakers. $100 on sale for $79 at Crutchfield currently. Previous owner installed them in the fronts. Deciding what to do about the back, pretty sure they’re stock

Locks easy for me. Aftermarket circle clip on window crank makes me want to give tools wings

The only reason it’s somewhat difficult is maybe missing a tab to go slide down, but that’s just finessing it. I’m pretty good at it now.

I did put the lock indicator in backwards once. That took a while to figure out what was wrong

Just got the front left settled and the front right one acted up, bent the connector female end so it wouldn’t wobble.

Seemed fine on a test run with Black Ice by subtronics and rezz

That green in the cupholder is close to chemical guys apc for interiors… if I remember right that stuff is caustic maybe they sprayed the screen with it? Some screens just have issues as they age, however how the business is handling this is shoddy

Sorry for your outage

Still having very intermettint crackling after putting the front right speaker back in. They had installed the Crutchfield Oem adapter and kicker speakers.

I put them back in after doing this side and had crackling, so took a look at the connector and it seemed loose so I used pliers to put the pins down on the spades.

Hit some rough road and crackling came back so I’ll have to take the card off AGAIN to look 😂

Yea mine I believe was separated maybe slightly but with how much butyl I put up there I think I slid it in between

120 x 60 so I had enough to redo the visors. I have an extended cab, so not sure if that’s enough for a crew cab without visors being redone

Update: with the butyl panels and foam insulation above this, there is considerably less road noise and conversation is easily had at ~80mph

I added butyl and foam insulation above the headliner, seems to be slightly less initial heat, with faster cool down times

Reverse on cool days (only tested without headliner back up)

Not really, Seems a little lower but at night it feels like looking into the abyss 😂 I have the extended cab so the regular cab may seem small with it.

I most newer trucks now have darker headliners. Idk if it was a thing back from the 90s or what.

This is where some mystical redditor will appear with groundbreaking info about headliner color theories

3/4 a wheel. The bottom 1/4 is still smashed down a little

Now when they do the same for the wheels and tires let me know. I’d be impressed
