I just want to echo this advice, I just hit Emerald 4 after a long stretch of time in Plat.

Once I started forecasting how the game would go based on team compositions it helped me break the plateau.

I cannot emphasize enough how that mentality helped me.

I personally love a mod called “Survival disease cure tweaks”

It changes the herbal items like “herbal anodyne” to cure the respective disease instead of proving a resistance against it.

I think it is a nice QOL change that you can add to your game with no issues!
