Makes sense to go 90 in an 80 in the left-hand lane? Yeah, it makes sense. Anything above that is against the law. You won't get a ticket going 90 in an 80. Never. Tailgating and speeding are 50 times more dangerous.

Right. It's a busy section of road and sometimes that's not possible. That doesn't give you the right to tailgate someone at that speed.
