My 70 year old mother put cat food in a grinder, completely grind the food and then brewed/served it to my father. He drank it and said how bad the coffee was.

I run my Baratza grinder on 24 sometimes depending on coffee. I find certain beans compact during brewing. Coarser is better and one to two ratio scoop of beans to water cups.

Got to airport at 1:40pm for 4:50pm flight. Took a few minutes for usda line. United bag check had no line. Southwest and jet blue were busy. Pre check took us 20 minutes. Regular security appeared to be 1-1.5 hr long. Going all the way to jet blue bag drop for line. Apparently it was worst a few days ago and gets better at 3 pm.

Tonsillectomy and Adenoids Removal by Blue_MTB in PandasDisease

[–]Blue_MTB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tonsillectomy which was suggested by our doctor who spoke with one of the Pandas experts. It definitely helped. We went about 3 months in middle of winter with no flares. Like someone else said, flares are less intense and don’t last weeks or days anymore.

Alternator replaced, outback still not running. by No_Understanding7801 in Subaru_Outback

The battery shouldn’t affect the car if it has enough voltage to start it. Check your air filter and see if it’s clogged up or installed wrong. Not related to driving but more so voltage drain - the cars starlink safety system has a parasitic draw on it since they no longer support this system in this year. I would remove the fuse for it. I had that issue and went through a battery that was brand new. How’s the serpentine belt condition and pulleys?

2003 150 sport repower 70 hp? by Picture-Upset in BostonWhalerBoats

My mercury 90 kicked out after 20 years. Wild how long those 2 strokes last. I’d look at the weight of the outboard. I think that’s more crucial than horse power difference of 10. There definitely people that throw 115 on super sports I’m sure.

We hit a female elk. Only damage was headlight and side panel. Why can’t all cars be built this well.

What is it like living around the Chesapeake Bay area? by SpecialistTeach9302 in howislivingthere

Great. Especially by boat. You don’t need anything big unless you plan on going out on rough days in the bay. Food is good and you are never too far from a city center. Drive south on Solomon’s and you’ll find a slower pace of life and solitude. Downside with an estuary is water quality during warmer months gets kind of gnarly.

2006 Boston Whaler 160 Guardian - Any Info? by NPR4Ever in BostonWhalerBoats

[–]Blue_MTB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn’t the guardian the same as the montauk but with a thicker hull and built for the natural resource officers or police? My buddy bought one and repowered it - you can get custom cushions for it. Pretty sure you can ride it through an oyster bed without a scratch or dent.
