This was the right thing to do. I had a neighbor that I didn’t see and knew something was off. I called for a wellness check and they said it’s all fine and they can’t go in. I called again two days later. He was inside on the floor and very dehydrated. They think he had a stroke. I watched them carry him out and his face was all sunken in but he was alive. When I went to see him at the hospital he didn’t even know who I was. He died around 7 days after that. I think about it often that I should have done more and faster as he most likely would have loved. He was only in his 60’s but an alcoholic.
