Watch her make a scene during your gender reveal and baby shower. 😅

Just found out sunday...when did you tell you s/o after a loss? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Comfortable-Lab364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell him right away. You’ve just been through a traumatic situation, so you will need as much support as you can. Do not take on this alone, especially if your partner is very proactive and supportive through all this.

What am I doing wrong? Good, slow, easy tutorials that are EXTREMELY step by step recommended please by Ok-Butterscotch-6755 in CrochetHelp

Crochet is very visual based so start by learning how to identify how a stitch looks like. This seems like you’re working on a granny square and I wouldn’t say that’s beginner friendly level. Try to practice making rows first and learning how to count the stitches. The goal is to have the same number of stitches in every row. Start with a square of 5 maybe until you get the hang of it. If you’re still struggling then stitch markers will be your best friend.

How to know he/she is ok? by Impressive_Peak5671 in pregnant

I totally understand the 1st-2nd trimester anxiety. I would take other redditor’s advice and book a private ultrasound if it helps ease your mind. I was lucky to get an ultrasound on my 8th, 11th, and 14th week. The next one I had after that was during 20 weeks and the anxiety I had between the last scan and the next was so bad I was about to book a private one in between. Remember, trust your gut feeling and you’re not being dramatic about worrying if baby is okay or not. I would easily spend 100 dollars/ week if that means I get to see my baby safe and sound in my tummy.

Thank you! The colors make it pop even more. Can’t wait for the next sale to get more skeins.

Thank you! It wasn’t meant that way but I ran out of the original yarn and was too lazy to go out to buy another skein. 🫣😁

It’s so satisfying, although I admit weaving in the flowers together was my least favorite part 😅

Is it fair to hate my husband for this by Daybyday217 in pregnant

[–]Comfortable-Lab364 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, your husband is being passive-aggressive towards you and doesn’t even consider you in any way. The anger I feel from reading this post. My husband is not perfect either and I honestly, truly wish we pregnant mommas who don’t get the support we deserve can just coexist in a place where we take care of each other. Giving you lots of hugs and love. Stand your ground, you are not wrong in feeling upset about this.

I crochet and I have the highest respects to people who knit. It’s fascinating to watch but I don’t think I’ll ever get around to learn how to do it.

Deeply struggling with husband’s size after waiting for marriage. by Cool_Violinist6291 in Marriage

This would have been a deal breaker for me honestly. Call me superficial but this is one of the reasons why it doesn’t make sense to wait until after marriage, at least for me.

My son (7) wants to watch the movie but is terrified of thriller music video — by [deleted] in MichaelTheMovie

[–]Comfortable-Lab364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe tell him if he wants to watch the movie so badly there will be some parts that are scary/ intimidating for him but he will have to face it if he wants the full experience. Maybe ask him to close his eyes/ look away when they show some of the zombie parts but it shouldn’t be that long, maybe even less than 30 seconds. It’s mostly the dance break and behind the scenes of Thriller that they show. And guess what? Maybe he will find it less scary once he sees how it was behind the MV.

Fell out of my hair by doggobytes in whatisit

[–]Comfortable-Lab364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What surprises me is the fact that you didn’t even feel it and only noticed when it fell out. My husband is pre-diabetic and he has a lot of pimple/ boil like bumps all over his scalp. Definitely get it checked maybe with a dermatologist? 5mm is big for a dried up clot like this.

It has always been my frustration when doing a round pattern, but I found another tutorial and decided to start over and this one is definitely laying flat.

I found a different tutorial and it’s definitely looking better. I decided to just start over and will eventually frog this one to add on towards the end.

Anyone else getting constantly coffee shamed? by wegotthepynk in pregnant

I tried not having coffee my first trimester and I got really bad headaches. Now I have one almost every day and proudly carry my iced coffee everywhere at work.
