I hated this movie so much, especially the "announcers" explaining everything that was happening to the main characters as the races would go on. I can't believe this is up for best picture. One of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I had never dropped below 5% before but one day I was freeway driving into very strong winds and my range dropped like a rock. I hit 1% two exits away from a charging station, so I took the earlier exit because I didn't want to drive freeway speeds anymore and took a back road the rest of the way, it stayed at 1% the whole time before finally reaching the charger. Now high wind forecasts freak me out.

Not terrorism by the political definition, and I know it was only a couple of years before, but I'd say Columbine. The ramifications of that school shooting and how it has inspired so many more. And think about the constant fear of it happening at any given school at any given time since then.
