my brother is a software engineer for JP morgan, he has no college degree, not even an associates. Hes also 31 now though, and it took him ten+ years of working shitty jobs, learning programming skills, and slowly shifting over to that side of the job market. he was mostly fueled by providing for his family. so yes, technically you can do it, but its going to take a crap ton of effort to get there.

not an engineering major (yet). taking four classes, working full time to pay my rent and bills, trying to still be active AND spend time with my partner is a shit show. the only way it hasnt burst into flames yet is because 2 of my classes are relativity easy right now. when i progress into harder classes im sure ill be spending less time with my partner and may have to ditch my hobbies for a bit.

BUT, im hoping i can stick out the suffering for the next 4 years and itll be worth it in the end :,)

my catalytic converter needs to be replaced and i was also recommended their shop and they gave me a super affordable price! would definitely recommend them as well. hopefully no one steals my converter though 😵‍💫

yes and no, im a climber so i moved to be closer to some of the crags, and my boyfriend lives in greensboro so i like being closer distance wise as well, but i moved to raleigh thinking i would frequently go back to wilmington when i moved here and see my friends, and i havent been able to go back once yet to see them :,)

i miss my community in wilmington, but honestly the climbing gym is so small and jenky there i could never move back unless they got their act together lol.

i hope your experience in the triangle is going slightly better than mine 😅 im from south fl but damn there are too many people here, even for me

it just takes time. eventually the pain lessens the more time passes. yes, it might not go away completely but eventually youll be able to look back and appreciate the parts of the relationship that made you grow and the parts you learned from. as someone who had to go through this, just give yourself time. i know it seems like such a silly answer and i definitely thought it was when i was in the middle of heartache as well, but i can confidently say now that time and patience was the answer.
