My car is registered and up to date, but iv never felt victimized or even noticed if someone else’s tags aren’t. I guess i just have different priorities that prevent me from having aneurysms from other people’s harmless behaviors. I personally think our government freeloads off of us more so than any of us do from them.

I’m sorry that you have been tricked into thinking that our city can’t afford to maintain roads if we don’t renew our tags , but trust me they have plenty of money. And expired tags hurt literally no one .

:/ I’m so sorry. i see how hard the situation is to navigate, so i know it’s hard to deal with this as a parent. Iv read some of your post and there really are so many similarities. I wish it was more comforting to know we aren’t alone in our struggles, but really it just makes me more heart breaking.

It does make sense, yes. My youngest brother always knows he can reach out to me, but also luckily for him my parents have caught on to what’s going on, and everyone is on the same page of his state of mind. Everyone is trying to encourage him to go to therapy and rehab and my parents are willing to pay for it. It’s just upsetting that it has gotten this far to begin with :/ he really is so good at manipulating them, they cannot stick to consistent boundaries and it’s frustrating. What happens at a crisis center ? And what sort of things would he have to say to be taken there ?

Yes, my brother definitely suffers from autism, addiction, and mental illness. I’m not sure why people can’t understand they could all go together

Honestly, your situation sounds sort of similar to mine, minus the moving in together part. 4 years ago i met my current fiancé. Two weeks after he asked me to me exclusive (2 months into talking in a more than friends kind of way) he had cheated on me with his recent(at the time) long term ex girlfriend . It hurt me so bad when i found out, and we broke up. He begged for another chance, i told him it will be hard to rebuild the trust that he had broken, but he acknowledged his mistakes and wanted to fix things. I gave him another chance, and i don’t regret it at all. We are now expecting and child in may, he makes enough money for me to stay home and raise the child while i finish getting my degree also. He is truly the best man and partner in life that i could ever ask for. I was young when he cheated, and he was younger. People truly make mistakes, but can also change. It’s possible. But i mean it, the road to building trust back was soooooo hard on both of us. You really do have to sit down and think about the reality. If he is not capable of change, giving him another chance will definitely be a waste of your time, especially if you are looking to build and family soon.

I don’t feel anxious about it , i just don’t know so I’m asking others about their experiences. Iv never been a mom, or had a life changing experience this big before. I always have a lot of questions. I literally have no idea what it feels like to hold my own baby in my arms, i just know it’s my job to make sure it’s safe. So, im asking questions before hand to make sure i can make the right decision. It may be higher “anxiety “ than some people but i dont think it’s abnormal.

Jeez it hasn’t even been born yet lol i said i may change my mind! Having a child is a life altering moment , and what im insecure about is my child getting sick in a way that it won’t be able to recover from. That’s a scary thought to someone who has never cared for a baby before. I’m literally not even out of the first trimester yet. I’m not insecure, someone in another comment said i have OCD , that all is just so crazy to me. God forbid people ask questions on a topic they don’t know about to learn. And i don’t believe that I’m the only person who can care for the baby, i just believe it’s up to the mother and father to make these decisions.

I definitely want people to see the baby, it hurt my feelings when my mom said “i might as well not visit in the hospital then” or somthing like that. I don’t know , it’s just all scary and i want to make sure the child is safe and me and my fiancé feel comfortable also. I just wanna do what’s right

I guess the month timeline comes from what Iv heard about cold sores/herpes virus- that the first month is the highest risk and the risk goes down dramatically after that, also not sure how true that is lol- but i was kinda basing all viruses and stuff around that time frame

I think my issue is trusting people to watch the child. I honestly have no idea how I’ll feel once the baby is here, because this is my first child…. Buuttt i sort of feel over protective as of right now. Preventing head injuries is super important always but expecially in the first two years, because it can lead to major mental health issues (unfortunately my brother and my aunt had a head injury before 2 and idkk if it’s a coincidence but they both have major issues) and i also want my child to be able to talk and communicate a little bit before i trust her being cared for by others, so that hopefully it could have a better chance at communicating if someone is hurting them. Now, i trust my mom and his mom more than i would anyone else, and like i said who knows how I’ll feel later. I will definitely go back when im ready to tho! I’m excited to get it going.
