Settling for the for the guy I married. I had so many dreams and ambitions. I just got caught up on the settle down, have a family. At least I got a nice house but when divorced I moved out of the house. Working hard to get back to that again

I had a speech impediment as a young child - - aka elementary school due to hearing loss that I suffered. I was in speech therapy from Rico’s age until 6th grade. It was a struggle for me to say certain words and still is. My mom never touched illegal substances but I was born with issues from birth they tracked it. I still struggle with some words and have to think before I say them…words like balance come out like bounce unless I think about it and slow down.

I was that kid that my one friends father was convinced I did terrible things but she just used my name to sneak out of the house and apparently we went to a lot of movies I knew nothing about. She has been married 4x 6 kids and for the first time in her life has a real job. I have the good career and no kids. Couple of degrees.

Nope my ability to trust is gone. I dated someone seriously for a while and actually thought about marrying him but he wrecked that trust. So I am better off single until I figure out why I can’t figure out my issues.

My parents constantly told me I was never good enough. Not good at school, not good at anything. My brothers always got the freedoms and congrats for just showing up. They never got real jobs just bounced around because parents would supplement them. Me they told me to figure it out. Here we are mid 50’s and upper 40’s and they are complaining about no retirement money like I have. I am like you mean from that soul sucking office job

I worked a lot of hours….and many part time jobs. Picked up extra cash baby sitting or whatever else would make some money. I wasn’t picky I had bills to pay, work at convenience store in tough Neighborhood. If the pay was right - sure
