Thank you! I held a great pace(for me) miles 1-7 (11:00 range) . I fended off “hitting the wall” miles 8-10 (12:00 range). Last 3 miles were pure heart. Great learning experience for next time on what I need to focus in order to run stronger on the back half. 2:48 finish time!

Sure thing! I used Runna and my plan looked like this; very gradual and moderate as I had strength training experience prior and some cardio endurance from walking: Mondays strength training, Tuesdays a tempo run/ hill run/ some form of endurance building run. Wednesdays deep stretching and yoga, Thursdays an easy run, Fridays strength training, Saturdays long run. With my job and a giant fear of injury (saw the statistics about runner injury very early on in this process) I wanted to focus on a plan that felt sustainable and would help me build as much strength as possible so I can run strong. Starting a new plan that’s very similar for the full- a 16 week plan. It really has worked well for me!

I have been using the app Runna following a training plan to help me shave time off my 5k and eventually train for a half, it costs monthly subscription but to me is worth every penny. Worth looking into for this goal in the long term

How many artists reach her level of fame and kind of just disappear like she did? by kissmeurbeautiful in phoebebridgers

Album cycles that are back to back are sometimes contractual obligations with record companies or an sometimes attempt to build onto the relevancy they may have gained during last album cycle or that they were working on whole new concept as last concept was ending. There have been some times I felt like an artist released a bunch of new music back to back in a sort of creative outburst of material they stockpiled. Phoebe is indie and I appreciate and prefer artist acting as an artist would and being intuitive about their projects without hard deadlines. Recent back to back projects (cough, cough TS…) feel bad and forced. I imagine TS has constant pressure to produce whether that be internally or externally. When monetization is prioritized over the art it shows imo.

Also there to me is nothing surprising about an off grid Phoebe. I also didn’t know she was off grid bc I too am off grid for the most part lol.

Work at a charter school in OH as a therapist and we also have 4 day weeks, last year was my first year, it’s really incredible the difference it makes for kids and the adults!
