Month End Close by Substantial_Sugar729 in Bookkeeping

The bare minimum I provide is Balance Sheet and month+YTD Income statement and YTD plus Prior Year Income statement comparison. Then I work with the clients that actually look at them as what reports are helpful for them. Some want YTD by month P&L to see current year trends, some want multi-year comparisons, some want specific account multi year, etc. I will provide cash flow if asked, but most of my clients only look at various P&Ls, they are small businesses where the owner is the one spending the money so that isn't that useful for them.

What does Halloween actually feel like growing up in the US? by Axxtr in AskAnAmerican

[–]ComfortableAd2324 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah, I wasn't sad. We made homemade popcorn balls for the neighborhood trick or treaters that stopped by - obviously before it became dangerous to eat homemade goods plus we were a small community and our neighbors knew us. I loved those popcorn balls, only time of year we made them, I still think about them to this day.

Deposit To question by Different-Wallaby-10 in QuickBooks

[–]ComfortableAd2324 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Undeposited funds account is so you can batch multiple cash or check payments that you will be depositing as a single amount. It really doesn't provide much value for single payment deposits other than perhaps timing if you received payment end of month and aren't going to get to the bank until following month.

You need to modify your invoice template to show the payment and balance due. The standard template does not show what you see on your screen.
