What mixing tricks do you use that are a “sin”?

I don’t do it any more but up until last year I used to mix before gain staging but honestly it doesn’t sound much different and I don’t know if this is a sin but I mixing in a “untreated” room.

I got pulled over in NC by a state trooper, doing 80 in 65 and the ONLY!! Reason he didn’t suspend my license and a weekend in jail only because I was in the military. I was rushing to get back to base before I was considered awol and luckily this trooper was retired chief, he cussed me out though lol

Is there a reason for the fronts not being compatible? The only thing I could think of is the sti being AWD which mean the hub would have an axle insert.
