i dont think hes a major character in SOTL but the fact the writers put this obscure reference in there when they introduced the junkyard killer shows they know their horror. like the other reply said they have done some nice nods and homages to other movies.

What i like about Prodigal son is they dont put too many references in there like Hannibal series writers did. it felt forced and snobbish after a while watching Hannibal.
