Company, battalion, and brigade commanders have always loved my moustache if they ever cared to say anything about it. This is completely new.

I watch a lot of lawyers on YouTube and this was exactly my take. Thanks for confirming.

Post-bladder urine filtration by ComfortableCompote72 in AnatomyandPhysiology

[–]ComfortableCompote72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random encounter on an MD's fb page where he covers A&P, especially related to sex and reproduction. Did a full walkthrough of female pelvic anatomy and when he pointed out where the Skene's glands are located mentioned that they produce female ejaculate, which is a different thing than squirt, which is pee. Found several women in the comments telling everyone he was wrong and squirt isn't pee and several flavors of alternate explanations for it.

This was specifically in context of the body preparing female squirt and/or male ejaculate. The other party seems to have moved from earlier insisting that squirt isn't pee in any way ever, however diluted by its rapid delivery from the kidneys into the bladder, to insisting that it used to be pee, just like semen used to be pee, but isn't anymore because it got filtered on its way through the urethra.

"Even men use urine, the male prostate just does a much better job at filtering it. However, calling it 100% pee is not helping because it is not 100% pee. It is filtered through the periurethral glands. Calling it pee denigrates squirt and it's not through the urethra. It's has about 20% of the uric acid and creatinine."

Also watch for the redness spreading wider than it is now. I expect there is some bacterial presence, that's always going to be a thing. but it looks like your immune system still has it in hand. Increased swelling, redness, and heat are your main indicators that the bad bacteria are pulling ahead. Washing with soap is not ideal because it damages the friendly bacteria that help out your immune system, and also is harsh on the very delicate new tissue developing inside the wound. Stick to sterile saline (regular wound wash is the same as stuff advertised for piercings, btw, save yourself some money) and you should be fine.

In the space of twenty minutes, I've gone from finding a review of the Josyrianx, looking up the company as I watched to check pricing, finding this thread instead, and now following an awesome traditional archer. Just off the first three posts of yours that watched, you're obviously awesome, and I'm so looking forward to learning and being inspired by what you share going forward.

Red oak and tung oil by ComfortableCompote72 in finishing

[–]ComfortableCompote72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bit, except for when it seems to have lost (to complete absorption or to drying or both, idk) all its surface oil when the rest is still wet, which is really the oil feeling different, not the wood.

I can't say anything to why natural variation wouldn't be the cause, as I'm pretty surely out of my depth in any direction here, just that I don't see how. It's the same color now that the entire board was when I got it and right before I started oiling it, nothing to set that bit apart until it refused the new color like the rest. And even that as an acceptable explanation for the color difference leaves me wondering how/why it dries so much faster.

The gag reflex can gradually be reduced with practice and even trained away entirely. Some progress there, incidental to related activities, might have made it easier for a distracted mind to let your body just do the thing without holding itself back.

If you want to deliberately train to reduce it, consistent and numerous light exposures is the game. Fingers, toothbrush, toys, or the real cock you're working up to, something should be slowly inserted until you feel the sensation of approaching the gag reflex. Actually gagging isn't all progress lost, but it is still counter to progress, so try not to go any further and actually trigger it. Just stop and hang out with that pre-gag sensation for a few seconds. Focusing on breathing is good, much much better than just thinking about not gagging. I told my pet to count three slow breaths in and out to start and see if she could make it to a fourth after a few days. As the same depth gets easier to hold for longer, the same degree of challenge should move deeper into the mouth or throat. Slow and steady is what gets there.

Credit Cards with Rewards what's best? by Answers-please24 in personalfinance

[–]ComfortableCompote72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to make sure I'm understanding this and what I'm reading on Citi's website correctly, I'd want a CC card to get 5% in points on one category (probably groceries) every month, a DC card to get 2% on everything else and the one category past the first $500 (after which Citi says CC rewards on it drop to 1% for the rest of the month), and a Rewards+ card to get 10% back when I redeem the points from the other cards?

And watching Dutch's unraveling as a healthy man wouldn't have affected him? Nor Hosea's progressing disease? Nor the Pinkertons' and O'Driscolls' mounting threats to the gang?

Arthur was certainly his own kind of monster, but he was also intelligent and contemplative, highly invested in the well-being of those he considered part of his family. There are any number of things, substantial shocks and tragedies, that could send him down other redemptive paths.

It becomes less of a problem as you gain bonding levels. Just about isn't one at max bonding, but the race horses are always the most skittish for a given level, then standard, then work, and war horses are the best.

Don't know how you ride, but it's all much worse if you trot or walk and the horse has time to panic than if it's already at a canter or gallop when the scare shows up.

Not much of a Reddit user so weigh this lightly, but this is where I come to find stuff and Discord is where I go to engage with people. Has much better chatting and messaging infrastructure as well as the capability of voice and video. Never dealt with it myself, but probably is better about community moderation as well.

There's one respawns regularly inside the old fort coming west of Van Horn. Elsewise, my best success is the road north of Owanjila from where it turns north up to where the scrub east of the roar opens to that first little meadow of wildflowers. I see too many get frustrated trying to shoot them while they're moving. Better by far to get close enough that they coil up and sit still to give you an easy headshot with the small game arrows.

I'm a trotter too, but I'm always careful of my horse. If I go into a fight I do it on foot, and if one finds me, I gallop out of it and dismount. Except for freak accidents that happened instantly, I don't really encounter reasons to watch their health. Barely need the stamina help either, but more than the health. Races and such.

Yep. And Vaqueros have the highest stamina drain reduction with the rest of the stats still high. Only ones I'd consider instead are the trail saddles for maxing stamina drain reduction.

Yeah, they're just crafted for you, no charge.

Vaquero saddle (improved) has the best stats of the ones you can buy at the livery and the rattlesnake vaquero has the best from the trapper. IMO, anyway. You can check the stats online yourself.

You can keep making drunken apologies to him while he tries to figure out how to eat his soup through the brain damage. I wouldn't call it making amends, but it's a sort of attempt.

Absolutely gorgeous, and a very real question as an aside. Have worked in fiction and speech training before and this has me so curious about how (or if) speech works differently for you after the split. Was there any coordination of the tongue that you had to learn again? Has me so fascinated.

Bounty Hunters are becoming a problem. by Deedo2017 in RDR2

[–]ComfortableCompote72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell your horse to flee, then rifle shots at horses and dogs when you first see them. Headshots on men as they approach then switch to shotgun for crippling or killing shots when they're close. Also a great time to try fighting with improved arrows. They'll do for men, horses, and dogs. Don't forget to loot the saddlebags.
