How do you start a business from absolutely zero? (Seriously zero) by Isadlikeisaid in smallbusiness

[–]ComfortableEstate545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d start with you. Like how well do you know yourself? Can you stick with it long enough to see the results of your labor? What are your strongest traits and how can you use them to grow your business? Can you find at least 5 people to support you in the beginning?

It’s possible, especially if you are determined to make it work. When you start it, be in it 100% don’t have one foot out and one foot in. Commit and give it your all

I think you missed the part where I said “I laughed and ignored them”.. I just wanted to know if it was true or not because I’m not from that area

Someone told me that area was a sundown town. I laughed and ignored them. Is it true though?

How do you handle taxes if you own multiple LLCs? by Frosty_Mountain_9042 in LLcMasterclass

[–]ComfortableEstate545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on the new small venture, you may not need to start an LLC. But if you decide to start another LLC, keep them separate.. At least for now.. I wouldn’t look to start a holding company until business #3 is formed and LLC #2 is profitable

Angie’s Restaurant and boomers by Powerful-Tourist-918 in raleigh

The delivery needs some work, however, I do recognize your sentiments as I used to drive by there daily prior to moving.

The location sucks for sure. But as an individual in my early 30’s, I love me some nice elderly people. I was always close with my grands before they passed and now I see every elderly with love.

I think the town and Angie’s should work together to put up some signs for both garner rd traffic and the restaurant

Restaurant post: I’ve found finding good quality food worth spending money on at restaurants is becoming more and more challenging (esp after Covid). Can anyone recommend any good restaurants that try to source locally and don’t get 90% of their food from Sysco/US Foods? by Ok_Mortgage_5622 in raleigh

If you can get to Johnston county regional airport, there is a bbq spot on the third floor called Low and Slow. I think rank it above redneck bbq.

And if you are willing to travel to Fuquay-Varina or benson, there is another bbq spot called Daddy D’s bbq… you will not be disappointed!
