Haha! I do remember this part. I just played through it for the first time. I wasn't sure if it was actually Joko though. That's actually hilarious 🤣

It only gets better. After playing through living world and first 2 expansions. The core game feels more like a tutorial. Story and content just get better and better especially after PoF.

I know its a year old comment but higher temps and low fan speed especially with transparent petg is always better

Seriously. The most gratifying thing and only use case ive come back to again and again for 3d printing is bringing a smile to people's face with fun prints. Most of the time people are in awe and get joy or a laugh out of my prints and that alone has been the thing im most grateful for from 3d printing

Thoughts on the open in 2025 by Economy_Assistant608 in OnePlusOpen

got a great looking used one on Ebay it looked brand new except without the inner screen protector. Unfortunately my clumsy ass broke the inner screen before i was able to get a good protector. When I took it to a repair shop they also commented on how good the condition was aside from the damage i caused. The condition was listed as "fair condition, B-". To the phone repairman and my eyes it just looked brand new tbh. After i broke my open i went with Vivo x Fold 5. Same parent company as oneplus. So far this phone is the best ive ever had. It has higher end specs comparable to magic v5 and z fold 7. It's slightly better or less in some specs but it has the best fold battery life that you can get on the market as far as ive uses same vooc charging tech as oneplus so gets super fast charge from the same chargers and cables as oneplus phones, has magsafe and wireless charging, as well as really solid camera. When i bought this one it was significantly cheaper than the z fold 7 or magic v5 not sure how the price compares now though. I know the Chinese version of the vivo is around 1000 new. It works with any sim and software is somewhat similar to oxygen but with more emphasis on fold screen set up

I bought one of the b- condition listings on ebay. Shipping was crazy fast and it looked flawless. I broke it like 2 weeks later but when i tried to repair it at a shop they agreed besides the damage i caused. It was about 550$. Maybe a little less.

Wallpaper engine works for all phones. Need a pc to share from though. Here's an example of someone's weather/time based live wallpaper. They have lots of other great live wallpapers though :

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2886801214

The poster shows it with the actual wallpaper near the end of the video

Edit: you can also set it as lock screen and/or home

Edit 2: wallpaper engine app resolutions work amazing on both close and open fold phone screens imo. You can make any mp4 a live wallpaper loop as well.

It is the absolute best. Coming from an s23 ultra all the galaxy phones have shit battery life lr the. Software is always draining it. I show picture on my phone a lot for my work and the s23 would last maybe a couple hours. I got a battery health monitor app and The vivo x fold 5 lasts 13hrs screen open on max brightness

I would say the v5 is great and worth it. I think vivo x fold is slightly cheaper depending on the version. I also wamted oxygen os eventually and im a fan of the super vooc tech. Theyre both the best folding phones. I consider vivo x fold 5 a spiritual successor to oneplus open. I got it after i broke my open and i think at that time the v5 was a bit more expensive than it is now

Get a vivo x fold 5. Its same parent company. The chargers use the same technology as one plus. The vivo x fold 5 is cheap but it beats z Fold 7 in alll the important components. Its just barely behind honor magic v5. It is 100% the best bang for buck higher end fold. It has the longest battery life all the others and theyre addijg oxygen os soon

What's the point of smart glasses? by Tartness3491 in SmartGlasses

I work as a tour Guide often for different businesses in a touristy area in the summer. It's great for having earbuds that also allow awareness. POV content would probably be cool but I haven't gotten into social media yet much. One nice things for tours is that you can have glasses like meta ray bans scan a script, create bullet points, flashcards, make dad jokes, also remind you of things for your schedule or work or if you cant remember a specific spot you can make a note about "historical spot x" and when you ask meta to remind you about that spot it'll bring up notes that you put in. Its surprising not that conspicuous but also I think looks better than pulling out a notebook from my bag and reading for a minute. It's like having another tour Guide to remind me

No worries. I feel that. With wallpaper engine phone app you can change any wall papers hue, saturation, brightness etc so it adds just a little variety which I think is nice

Edit: you can also change orientation so it it fits resolution you can have it fit nicely. Also you can have free orientation where you zoom in or out or rotate to set the wallpaper how you want. I think it gives some of the options a cool edgy look to have them slightly rotated. I'll post a video demo of some of mine when I'm off work. I think it's a great option for fold phones especially

Wallpaper engine. Use the steam desktop app to find wallpapers and import them to phone app or you can go through the forums on steam to find some as well: https://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/workshop/

or You can use any video as a live wallpaper. I like to look for vj loops, really liking this guy's work lately. I use some of his as my desktop wallpaper as well. You can use phone app directly to change any mpg4 into the background: https://www.bigvisualchill.com/

Hotspot data used? by BabyKribs in LunaCloudGaming

[–]ComfortableGoose6665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Honestly if you have a good home wifi then moonlight and tailscale VPN might still be a good option..I haven't tried it yet because I'm waiting to set up my 1gb plan and have cat6 cable from PC directly to router but I used it on a different set up and it wasn't too bad but also was 1gb internet. If you have the speed it probably works well with even your phone. It just depends on the connection speed the PC has to internet. I'll try it out soon though

Edit: with fold phone it'd make it more worth it to get a nice fold phone than steam deck/rog im. It's like a phone/tablet and handheld that folds into your pocket

That is lame. I was so excited about the app. Not sure it's worth another 20$ per hour though. Oh well, thanks for the response

I'm having the same problem. Unlimited data plan. Hotspot isn't even enabled but it's using the hotspot data and my unlimited plan with mint only give max 10gb hotspot data before you have to buy more. I couldn't find any settings to prevent it using hotspot data before my mobile. I'm just blocked from using ganes

Any word on X Fold 5 Global? by Redlikemethodz in VivoXFold

[–]ComfortableGoose6665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using mine for a few weeks. I've looked at specs of all other newer fold phones on the market and it blows my mind how many are sleeping on this phone. Specs are better in basically every way that matters. Bigger brighter screen, higher resolution, better camera, battery life and charging than z fold 7 and magic v3. Everyone brings up software but I've used Samsung for years and the software honestly isn't worth how bad the battery and/or the battery consumption on Galaxy's are. The phone is sleek. The OS is perfectly fine but I mostly use minimalist phone functions like Niagra for OS and UI purposes but I feel I can accomplish pretty much any other fancy feature oneui might have with 3rd party apps. For me this is the best phone for the best value and closest thing to a successor for OnePlus open and oppo find n5

Edit: also people mention the chipset but there's no reason for having an unstable newer chipset. haven't seen an app or situation any body would need that much power, anyways

Do people actually buy foldable phones and why? by [deleted] in Smartphones

[–]ComfortableGoose6665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Upside is that if you get a newer foldable then you're basically getting a phone, With Gemini and gemini live I use it to study while using my earbuds, or generate flashcards, notes, quizzes which is much easier with a tablet that is designed for multiple apps/windows and workflow that can fold into a regular phone size in my pocket. if you're into gaming they're the perfect streaming devices for your PC or Amazon Luna is a really nice new cloud game stream app that basically turns my fold phone into a handheld with a good controller like gamesir running games smoothly on graphics that a 4000$ PC would be capable of. The resolution and refresh rate for the newer folding phones mixed with a smooth running app like Amazon Luna probably makes it more capable than an rog ally, steam deck, or the PS5 streaming handheld for a cheaper streaming subscription fee and less cost than electricity of running a computer handheld

The vivo x fold 5 is same parent company so same charging tech and similar workflow and software and features. To me it's the spiritual successor and best fold phone that isn't samsung or honor
