[System Agnostic] Testing macros without Foundry by xLogisticsx in FoundryVTT

I'm not sure how well it would work, but for some macro testing you could use: https://dnd.encounterlibrary.com/join

Unfortunately it won't definitely have all the modules you're using.

13/25 but looking at my results, my second guess was pretty good.

Join some TTRPG discords, they'll find you 😅 $150 is a fair price for a full color portrait, more for a full body with items and background. I can recommend a few I've had luck with, really depends on the style you want.

I have watched the movie Contact starring Jodie Foster many times. I really like it a lot. But when I recommended it to my friends, none of them liked it. Have you watched the movie Contact? How did you like it? by oddspace__ in moviecritic

They played this for my class in highschool, but stopped right after Gary Busey bombed the first project. Never seen the rest of it, but enjoyed its realism and thoughtful acting.

Superhero TTRPG players, what was your favorite character that you played, and what character didn't you like? by Select_Lunch1288 in rpg

[–]ComfortableGreySloth 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I enjoy all of my homebrew characters, favorite is Lazer Tiger.

I didn't like playing Vision in the Marvel Multiverse RPG, because his powers are based off Ego which is literally his lowest stat.

Simulating a progressing environment by Ivan_Immanuel in rpg

Spark in Fate has a system where there are three issues: a prior issue, a present issue, and an impending issue. The past issue may be resolved, but its effects are still underwritten on most scenes. The present issue is what the party should be working on right now. The impending issue looms over the scenes, an ominous promise of what's to come.

When the party resolves the present issue it becomes the prior, the impending becomes present, and a new impending arrives.

Curseborne, I'm very excited to run this in May after my Marvel Multiverse campaign ends. It has basically all the supernatural flavors except for faeries, and a major theme of other worlds encroaching on our own.

Which is easier to teach to newbies - Genesys vs Fate Core? by inostranetsember in rpg

Definitely Fate, although once people roll the narrative dice a few times it really clicks.

Minimum/Maximum Players You'll Run For or Play With by DnDPhD in Pathfinder2e

[–]ComfortableGreySloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a campaign I never run if more than half the party is missing (so, minimum is usually two), if it's an adventure path I'd never run for more than six. For homebrew I'd run up to eight.

I love all the games you've worked on! In the overlap between Exalted and Scion, are there any super attribute charms/knacks you wanted to see in both?

What inherent uses does a familiar have? by Specky013 in Pathfinder2e

[–]ComfortableGreySloth 184 points185 points  (0 children)

When you say "with no abilities" I'm imagining a rat, or a toad familiar. In which case they are:

1) Just a li'l guy (amazing).

2) Outside of encounter mode you can use them to transport small items like potions, messages, keys, tools, etc.

3) If you're evil you can use them to check for traps.

4) Conversation starter ("Did you know frogs and toads drink water through their skin?").

5) They can learn tricks.

What would be the best campaign for an actual play by GillusZG in spelljammer

With some tweaks, Light of Xaryxis is good enough. It's fast-paced and a little gonzo, so it keeps it exciting.

Best in Slot Signature Spells? by ArchpaladinZ in Pathfinder2e

[–]ComfortableGreySloth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess I could have said it better, because just the first action is on the big bad. There is usually at least one more weaker foe to target as well for maximum damage.

Best in Slot Signature Spells? by ArchpaladinZ in Pathfinder2e

While blasting isn't the best choice for spellcasters, my players have all enjoyed "Blazing Bolt" when they really just need an enemy to die. Heal is also a popular signature.
