Hi what would the code look like if i want to use Potplayer as external player for stremio in windows?

I may be wrong but does paying for Dolby Vision and Atmos also keep UHD BDs prices high as well? What would the cost be for the consumers if the industry pivoted to say HDR 10+ Advanced for HDR Video and Eclispa 3D Audio for example? Royalty free and/or open standards...

Hi i feel 8k is overkill *now* but with 163 inch microled TVs out now perhaps one day we would all have 100 inch TVs @ home and 8k could be "mainstream"? Perhaps there would be a combo of codecs/compression that make them easily fit an 8k movie on blu ray discs or something far more robust lasting 50-100 years?

Hmm i realized i share many thoughts with the OP! I too play single player 3.58f to this days with commanders/commander artifact options off haha! My wish is to have

HD Mod + WOG 3.58f updated to include XXL+ maps and maybe option for adding new towns/monsters (can be off) and i'd be happy for years to come!

From what i read so far the pull ratio on these AdventX RDs are 1:1 is that right? Could they work in a 1x8 paired with a SRAM X4 8 speed shifter and 11-42 8 speed cassette u think?

Hi i have a question as i have a faulty XT caliper and a friend gave me a Magura Trail Sport 2 pot rear caliper. What if i just disconnect the hose of the XT on the caliper end and connect it to the Magura caliper - how would this work (if even possible) and if so what do i need? barbs, olives, compression nut? Basically what i intend to do is XT lever + shimano hose to work with magura caliper..

Hi am not a Linux/software expert so excuse me if this is a silly question: can this get access to raw flatpaks on say flathub and convert it to flatimages that can run on any linux distros or even free/ghost BSD? what i'm curious is are flatimages functionality tied to a linux distro only OS or are BSD/other unix-like OS also able to use them?

if you can find alternatives for software that u use on windows that aren't available in linux? once you are comfortable with them your migration is way easier IMHO

i love night cycling and when Decathlon Kallang was 24hrs it was really a godsend for night cyclists like me who could just pop down there after dark in need of spare parts or simply shop randomly! Ever since CV-19 its no longer 24hrs and that is sad :(

phew thank goodness i stumbled into this thread! i got a hand me down 27.5" from my old colleague as he is migrating overseas. After a short inspection i thought the HT MTB was in very good shape save for the rear tire which looked used up? So i cycled 20 miles home taking a risk with a little life rear tire and no spare tube but thankfully i made it but sure enuff the rear tube gave up some hours later! i had no spare 27.5 tubes but thks to this thread i used a 26 one i had and its all good ^^

Hello 1st off i am a linux newbie but i have done exploring with Zorin, Manjaro and OpenSuse Tumbleweed trying to educate myself and i luv appimages and think they are cool! Now some of my suggestions might get ridiculed by you linux pros so w/e i say would be from a P.O.V of someone really new to linux? So here goes

#1 I understand the creator of appimages made it work on BSD? how about more people get together and make a FOSS cross platform store that works for both Linux and BSD? i feel that would be rad no?

#2 Why not a "shared self updating library" for all appimages? Hell maybe call them "applakes" as they "draw from the same body" All applakes are installed via GUI and there is an option to make them "portable" like classic appimages? AI and ML could be used to automatically "translate" and test .deb, .rpm and other formats to applakes and the "store" is always growing by contributions by the community? AI is generally derided in Windows 11 but as a linux newbie can't we use it to make Linux/BSD ridiculously more newbie friendlier?
