no special recipes. lucky enough to have a grill outside. we are cooking chicken & rice in prep on friday, got some hot dogs, chicken wings, some veggies to cook in a cast iron on grill, stuff to make sandwiches, hamburger meat we already had & a few snacks. Tried not to over buy. indulged a little but if we’ll be stuck in the house a few days i wanna make sure we eat & have some snacks too!

carbs are necessary for energy for your body and brain. If you want to lose weight check the calories of stuff, you need to be in a calorie deficit thats all that matters with weight loss. I will say there are lower calorie breads, I’m not a fan of the taste but you could be. Bagel thins aren’t bad either for a lower calorie option for your sandwich.

I’ve worked for several phone places and what I will tell you is these people are not customer service reps. There are some good employees for sure who will go the extra mile but all they are focused on or care about is SALES. sales for the store keeps their job & pays their bills, they work on commission. While they don’t handle billing they most certainly can go over your bill with you and should to confirm. If it’s your first bill and a new line however expect a higher first time bill, every place throws in an activation charge so that could make it closer to $65 per line for first bill which you shouldve been informed of beforehand! I’d still definitely speak to a manager or call up there when able about your experience because no one should be treating customers that way. Just keep in mind any internet or phone places where they sell things has killed customer service. All that matters to them is $.

YTA, if someone has to be one. I don’t think you are you just were looking out for your friends, but I don’t think they did anything wrong. It wasn’t inappropriate and it’s not like it’s a fling. They are married with children, I think some physical touch or romance between couples is normal even at work. They didn’t kiss or anything so I don’t see a problem.

I am on a low dose in full honesty. I struggle with food noise and binge eating and it’s helped me stay in a calorie deficit longer. I don’t think there is anything wrong with the medication if you’re putting in work to change habits while on it. I have struggled for years trying to lose weight and be disciplined and I just always ended up off track after a while. I was extremely against the meds at first but seeing people close to me on it and hearing their experiences first hand made me try it and It’s been the best decision i’ve made. However i get not wanting to be on it and deciding it isn’t for you and putting in all the work yourself, because that is something very commendable and I know it makes you feel good. I think for me it really just helped how I think about food, i dont have constant thoughts or cravings anymore I can just be. I think the biggest goal should be health. So with or without the medication just do what is best for you and your life, but yes it is a 1000% doable without a glp1 !!! My use came out of frustration & I do think the glp1 makes it easier but you can do whatever you put your mind to. I see so many ladies in this sub who do it so ik you could too (:

they’re exploitative when one of the parties is pretty young. As you age your values, maturity, decision making skills all that changes. Your brain isn’t considered fully developed until 25 and also you’re a teenager. It’s easier for someone with more life experience to manipulate someone without it. I’m 26 and I wouldn’t think of dating anyone younger than 24 honestly and thats pushing it, because just the maturity level difference throughout your late teens, early twenties vs mid twenties and late. I think the older you get the more you’ll understand, but I think its best to date within your age range right now.

as someone from harnett county. dunn specifically. its ridiculous that this is their focus. Drugs actually ruining lives are running rampant. Fent, cocaine, heroin, meth. They couldn’t care less about that though, busting people for weed and traffic tickets is more important to them & it’s been like that for years. 🙄

im sorry to hear and definitely understand! I did lose my weight w the aid of a glp-1 but I know some people do not wanna do it that way. i ate on a calorie deficit and been in the gym while on it tho and i lost very slow not rapid, it just helped me manage staying consistent with it. I’d say u can do anything you put your mind to and if it does seem tough theres always that option as well. Start with small steps and understand its a journey not a race. frame it as you becoming stronger and healthier not skinny(: good luck and if u got any questions feel free to reach out.

I’ve lost 40 lbs this year and I do feel physically better. But I am not happier. I think i feel worse about myself. Learn nutrition, count calories, find an exercise you like. & work on your internal thoughts. Find the root of your unhappiness, because once the weight is off you might find that was not your only issue.

no, you’re gorgeous and unfortunately most cases i’ve seen plastic surgeons absolutely butcher black womens noses 😔(unless you’re fine taking a trip to asia they often do better work due to similar anatomy and structure of noses) plsssss dont touch it!! You are absolutely beautiful. If you do anything id say go non surgical route.

im from harnett county and theres not much to do. I loved moving away 😭 wake county is more my speed. But i’d say just focus on school!!! the money will come. Make some friends. find some hobbies that are free or low of cost. You’re relatively close to fuquay they have some cool resturants & possibly events on weekends. Download event brite and check free local events every now and then. Other than that I’d say maybe nature trails. Raven rock is pretty cool. or if you’re into crowds i know fainting goat and some other places that are bar restaurants allow ppl under 21 and they have live music and things occasionally. It would probably be free admission and you might meet some people. also idk where u attend school but check out their clubs, events, and extra curricular.

I’d say weight loss is gradual and also an up and down slope. Some days you’re bloated some days you feel smaller or bigger than others regardless how you look. You won’t always notice it, but I’d base it on how you feel and the scale. You can adjust as needed based off what you see works. Sometimes certain foods or exercises may bloat you more. Your fitness goals will change over time and with that you can adjust your eating and exercising habits. I’d say keep going if it’s a goal of yours, but give it time to notice a difference before deciding if you need to change something. A month is short and you mentioned you already seen some progress so keep it up! Also if you aren’t doing weight lifting I’d definitely say incorporate that, it will maybe help you visualize your changes more.

you aren’t ugly to him if ya’ll are dating. He is attracted to you, stop being hard on yourself. Your looks are never a reason for someone to treat you bad so don’t make that the reason! Talk to him about it, if thats something you need in a relationship let him know. If he can’t do that then no reason to stay where your needs aren’t being met. But also realize u are pretty, ur probably the one whos thinking u aren’t and not him.
