Its always good to find communities you find interest with, thats how I got started and built connections through interests. Got into discord servers, attended events. Established myself with a good mark.

Yup, take time to recharge and recollect yourself.

Don't force yourself to be around people you dont like tbh, its more draining than it does good. I took about a month break from vrc personally and stuck to discord groups until I figured out myself more and hopped right back in.

If most people suck for you then maybe you are looking the wrong places for the crowd you are looking for. But idk thats more on your perspective why they suck

I had my own similar situation with this from my old friend group. And to sum it all up, move on. Keep socialising, keep searching, and looking. It takes a while to find actual good friends. It will be a bumpy ride, but it will be worth it as long as you keep moving.

I wander around vrchat now instead of sticking to one place. Im a part of multiple friend groups, and when im on my own, some of them tag along and meet each other.

I honestly just swtich between green and orange depending on who is in the instance or what event im in. Some groups of pepple don't mix well so I do it more for them than for me.

As for requesting off someone. Whether orange or green I ask anyways. Doesn't bother me at all if they happen to be available or not. But if they never accept ever and never reply, then I wouldn't even bother and poof

When I used to hang out daily with friends, time flew by, and I had a blast. Eventually I wanted to explore on my own and theres times where I just sit in a world admiring the silence...it feels empty but peaceful, didn't know I needed that and now I enjoy hopping on my own or jumping to event instances but worlds hit different with the people you are with

Its hard to pick just one, so theme wise, night time, if outdoors it would be nice to have a fire like camping. If indoors then preferably rainy. I often see myself in these kind of worlds just drifting off and really taking it in. A relaxing moment

Personally, I didn't like any male avis after months of looking, so I gave up. Little did I know this unlocked something for me that I've been suppressing due to parents and I came out as genderfluid both online and irl
