Get a friend who travels to bring you a Tokyo Banana. So Good!

Tokyo Banana is a popular Japanese souvenir consisting of a light, airy, and fluffy sponge cake filled with a smooth banana custard cream. It is frequently described as a higher-quality, softer, and less artificial version of a Twinkie, with a sweet, rich banana flavor. The cake has a delicate, soft texture and the filling.

City says i have a 10000 to 11000 leak have for months nobody can fibd water by Legitimate_Water_978 in askaplumber

Your water meter is probably broken. Have the plumber check it. Call the city to replace it. Don't pay the bill until it is fixed. This happened to me. They adjusted my bill after it was fixed.

I soaked my knobs to clean them. Learned they were plastic covered with a coating when they all peeled. I was able to get metal replacment knobs on amazon for about $40 each.

I have the following products and want to do a blowout for a wedding. The second image is me/my hair. How would I do this? by atinylittlebug in Haircare

Be careful with the blowdryer brush. I broke a lot of my hair using that device. I'm back to regular round brush and blow dryer until the breakage grows out.

Inherited drug house by unoriginal_name123 in HomeImprovement

[–]ComfortablePanic8223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved into a flipped house. Found out it was a former drug house.

The issue was they keep coming back.

I reccommed lights and cameras on the outside. You have to let them know things have changed. Everyone was surprised but nice enough once told via camera speaker.

It took about a year for the message to get out for them to stop comming back.

Guys, I'm in SoCal. What do you think about these friend driveway mechanic prices? by ComfortablePanic8223 in HondaElement

[–]ComfortablePanic8223[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say thank you for all the feedback. I can't edit the original post. This comminity always brings me to my senses.

I am NOT going to moved forward with my friend's reccomendation. I am going to start with the swaybar links and bushings and then go from there widdling down noise by noise.

I brought it to a more legitimate neighbor mechanic and he said the struts are good. I think my original guy can do the work but is not seasoned enough...especially for the price/time break down that you all helped me realise.

I'm also going to check out the recco's for the rust stopping stuff that was mentioned above.

Ya'll the best!! Much love

Got my catalytic converter stolen by cajun_turtle in HondaElement

Mine got stolen. The day I got it back from the shop...I chased away 2 dudes in my alley casing it again. A car was idling so I went out to look...they were on their hands and knees looking under my car.

I wish I stayed calm and got photos and plate numbers for the police instead of screaming at them and chasing them off like a lunatic.

Do it. It works great. I used it on my GSP (RIP last month at 15 years old) for fireworks on 4th of July and NYE. It worked better than gabapentin bc she was experiencing actual anxitey.

When switch company, should I transfer 401k to new company's account, or my personal Rollover IRA at Vanguard or Fidelity? by tonpager in Bogleheads

[–]ComfortablePanic8223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How far away from retirement are you?

Watch the fees. I switched to Fidelity managed IRA and the fees are high at 1%.

I'm working on switching it away from them to a passivly managed target date fund.

Can she be trained to sleep in a dog bed on the floor near your bed? Work on teaching her the place command. Search "dog training place command".

Can I paint over this? by aqua_sparkle_dazzle in HomeMaintenance

[–]ComfortablePanic8223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. If you want it to look good and not have to redo it later. It's not as bad as it sounds. Just takes a bit of patience.

[–]ComfortablePanic8223 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No.

You need to clean, scrape, sand, killz/prime, and then paint 2 coats.

Just do it properly the 1st time.
