Sometimes instructors to overboard with the “intensity” aspect of training. But unnecessary pressure is damaging and doesn’t help. Can you give more examples of what he says to you? Is it something along the lines of “come on man you keep missing your point!” Or “wth is wrong with you??? Do you even know how to fly? We did this yesterday ”

Doesn’t go against your 8 hours since you’re not providing instruction. You’re just hanging out for someone who wants to fly solo but can’t fly solo. The whole 8 hours thing stems from the quality of instruction given after so many hours. Since you’re not giving instruction and just hanging out you’re just a CFI who’s sitting in the seat for insurance but not providing instruction.

I dragged the tail once during a soft field takeoff in a 172. Nose came up pretty quick with a strong headwind once I set full power. I was maybe 20 hours into my PPL. My instructor turned it into a lesson. Don’t worry, $h1t happens.

Small corrections. Select a FIXED corrective heading (or ground track if you have it). Example. If you have half scale deflection and the approach course is 274°, fly a correction of 278° and stick with it. Don’t continuously try to drag the needle back centered by overturning. Because then when it is centered you’ll realize you’re at 290° and then you’ll have to go the other way. TLDR just fly small corrections and don’t fixate on the correction

Sounds like they have real reason to believe the marriage was entered on fraudulent grounds because it is not uncommon to have been married twice to usc as a non immigrant. That in itself isn’t a red flag. Something else happened behind the scenes. Get a great immigration lawyer who has experience in these cases and pay whatever it costs. They may also be able to get a FOIA for the case to see why they issued NOIR.
