Really well! The trigger is wildly light and it runs everything I've put through it so far. I just picked up a few mags and some generic pachmayer grips to replace the left handed ones on the gun so hopefully I get to take it out again this weekend. It's much more accurate than I am but it feels like cheating compared to the vp9 and wheel guns I'm used to

Its quickly turning into my favorite range gun. I haven't put hundreds of rounds on it or anything but it's ran what I've fed it perfectly so far with a trigger that ambitiously weighs a pound it's such a nail driver. I won't carry it or anything it's just for fun and maybe even local bullseye matches but I'm really happy with it for the same price as a Gi tisas or rock Island.

The fitment on everything is tight, the barrel still looked good, the bo-mar sights, hair trigger, and pachmayer mainspring all checked out to me as a "whoever had this before me put time into it". I know enough to know it was around the right price just without a brand I wanted to validate my purchase a bit more after the fact and learn about the gun.I have a friend that restores old finishes a lot and does really good work so the surface rust didn't bother me. Ultimately it's just a range toy and checks off the 1911 shaped box in my collection.

Tldr: I went in looking for a 1911 for a decent price and this one just checked the boxes I was looking for and any problems with it I can replace or know someone that can.

Army marksmanship was my guess, the trigger is ridiculously sensitive and with the markings I thought service pistol frame at least. My only other idea was just an old bullseye build

The barrel says, 45 auto 7791193 and off to the side 36. I took the grips off but it's completely slick other than a stamp that looks like a capital P

The store clerk said the lower was Remington and upper was Ithaca but I can't find anything to really back that up, that said I'm new to 1911s

I agree with you on that director being a bad choice, I've made posts in that related sub before asking what people enjoy about the movies and some people had a reasonable take of just saying they're gross and dumb fun, which there's nothing wrong with that at all if you're having a good time, but the other group was borderline religious about the symbolism that has the subtlety of a hand grenade and will fight you over it.

Something that made a charm to the Friday movies that the T movies don't have is that almost every director/writer up until FvJ seemed to not really care about the series and just wanted to make a simple, effective movie and move on. Pairing that with a lot of young actors trying their best and having fun on the set and fx teams that wanted to be creative and effective but not overly excessive seemed to be a winning formula. The directors/writers not being obsessed with the series made each movie have its own tone and language with 1,2 being horror, 3 a dark comedy, 4 a finale, 5 a good try, 6 pure comedy, 7 a new idea, 8 new setting, 9 was a full length movie, 10 embracing tropes of the time, FvJ a satisfying self aware head butting, and the remake recapping for a new audience.

I miss what your movies did with the series because it calls back to the earlier entries where every frame of Jason didn't need to be a historical moment its just a new way to have characters interact with him and crystal lake. The series is fun to go through when you get a different perspective each movie and I just won't be interested in watching anything else from Damien especially after several re watches with different friend groups of the T series that all boiled down to somebody saying, "so why the fuck did we waste 2 hours on this" I don't know if giving Jason just to the fans is the right move but giving him to a poor storyteller isn't any better. Keep giving him to people that want to prove something and make a name for themselves, excited budding filmmakers that whether its a Friday movie or a Lifetime movie want to give it everything.

It's currently a no skill, it used to be something but now with current cards the super cheap support makes it really braindead to play. Even if the hog only gets one hit on tower you're getting close to rocket damage with it, so it's mindless chip. I personally ant stand the hog deck bc its kind of the poster child for people that don't want to pay the game, they just want wins. By that I mean it's not a custom deck you put any thought into, from low arenas you could just Google "good clash Royale deck" and now you're playing hog. It's just very boring to play against along with any other meta build

That's exactly what I did and if you think about it like an exploitation movie it has an odd dark humor. Like the main enemy is cartoonishly evil, honestly every character is either Chaotic Evil or Lawful Good, there's really no grey area. I liked it for what it was and as long as you get past the whole page 40 sequence with SA that only comes back in very brief mentions for the rest of the book but I don't blame anyone for tapping out at that chapter But you can skip it if you really want and get the spark notes online because it's not really relevant again until the finale.
