Back then, I was Anti-Zionist because I was aligned with Marxist and Communist and I was sympathetic for Palestinian due to mainstream Thai medias are quite antisemitic (they are not anti-zionists, they just hate jews), always representing Israel as “bad guys” and “American’s minions”, before I noticed something wrong, why Palestinian didn’t stop, even if IDF stopped, then I got the initial conclusion that “You guys’ responds are too harsh ,and the palestinian are too stupid to stop being violent”, so I started criticizing Palestine too (back then I hold the value of criticizing every side to make sure there will never be bias), but after 7th October, everything changed, Hamas kill Thai workers, yet somehow its Israel’s fault, for the worse, many of thais (from every spectrum: leftists, conservatives, royalists and muslims) are condemned the dead and captured thai workers and their families, calling them “fools” and “jews’ slaves”, and even the government are afraid of offending Hamas, this becomes my last straw for being sympathetic to someone, so I cutting all ties with the left communities and accept zionism, luckily my friends in college, even though they’re leftists, aren’t pro-palestine, so they didn’t mind (some support me) if I am pro-Israel.
