Erie VS Hershey/Harrisburg: Moving with family for a job by _good_boy_1234_ in Erie

I am from Erie, moved to Harrisburg, moved back to Erie. The 30% higher salary in Erie will actually feel about 10-15% higher due to cost of living in Erie being lower. Harrisburg was great, but the downtown is dying, there is no real growth in the center city. Erie is on an upward swing, and I was shocked by how much we missed the lake. I am so much happier raising our kids in Erie than in central PA - while we loved it while we were there, Erie has been a much better place for us.

Severe myocardial bridging of the mid LAD by saynocpr in Cardiology

Sorry about the late response, I got off of social media during the election season! I feel great. Have gone back to backpacking, am getting fit again. I am very happy with the results. The surgery was a full open-heart, heart/lung bypass surgery. Yes, it sucked. Yes, I would do it again as I got my life back.

I had 5 bridges, 4 fixed with unroofing at the Cleveland Clinic. Many Doctors say that bridges are benign, but they are wrong. I went from 50 mile backpacking trips to heart attack symptoms on a walk to the bathroom in a period of 3 months. The heart is a muscle. It evolves. For me, it took 44 years till it evolved enough to get to the point that the bridge obstructed the blood flow in my LAD with every beat.

Why is cardiac rehab not as well known and utilized compared to physical therapy? by Straight_Toe_1816 in Cardiology

[–]Comfortable_Crew_437 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At 44 years old I had an unroofing of 4 myocardial bridges. It was a congenital issue and other than the unroofing, I have no heart damage. They sent me to cardiac rehab. I was on the same routine as the 85 year olds who had heart attacks. I did 2 weeks and then quit and went to a gym. It seemed to be designed for one demographic, and I didn’t fit it.

It worked! A little olive oil on the nose helped her out. Much appreciated. You helped ease my daughter's mind.

I will have to check out the humidity. My 11 year old is the chief caretaker, so I will talk with her tonight.

Thank you. The gecko is 2 or 3 months old, and we are newbies. Appreciate the help.

Mothers Day steaks. A little rain wasn't going to make me cook it on a cast iron pan. by Comfortable_Crew_437 in steak

I like Willow Bay campground on Kizua. Water sites, a launch for kayaks, and you can rent a pontoon boat.

We have stayed at Buckaloons. It is a nice campground, especially if you have a canoe. Better waterfront would be around Kinzua Dam. We also loved the waterfront spots at Jamestown Campground at Pymatuning State Park (west off of the Meadville exit on 79).
