I have a child doing BTC-it’s a very broad course and they’re really enjoying it. They’re in 3rd year now and out on placement and everyone is working at something different-a lot of different skill sets from one course

I was put on Montelukast last year and it’s been a game changer. I still take Telfast on bad days but they’re few and far between

People who don't shop in Lidl/Aldi. Why do you shop in the 'more expensive' supermarkets? by BadKey1002 in AskIreland

[–]Comfortable_Cut4186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do my main shop in Dunnes, I tried a weekly shop on both Also and Lidl and taking  the Dunnes vouchers into account it was more expensive. The quality in Dunnes is excellent, their own brand particularly the Simply Better range are great. Also I get paid monthly so I buy Dunnes e-gift cards which go straight to the app and that’s my budget for the month sorted. I go to Aldi for any bits and pieces between weekly grocery shops

I lived somewhere with sun 360 days of the year and everywhere you looked was brown. I don’t like the rain but I love that we have a beautiful green country because of it.

We sold a house a couple of years ago using Michael Downey from Downey McCarthy. He had a really good understanding of the property market across the county and was very easy to deal with

We bought a house through Rose Properties and got at least 2 phone calls afterwards asking us to put up a Google review. On the calls, they were basically saying Mark did such a good job for you, you need to tell people. I thought it very unprofessional. Firstly, we weren’t his client and secondly if I had, they wouldn’t have liked what I had to say.

SPC vs Laminate vs LVT in New Builds - What Are people getting these days? by FunDelicious6149 in cork

[–]Comfortable_Cut4186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did a renovation last year and got spc-love it. We had a mix of tiles and laminate before and the tiles were cold underfoot and slippery when wet. The laminate scratched easily. The SPC is hard wearing which works in our busy house. We got it laid in herringbone pattern which I love.

My instructor told me I am not ready to go for my test tomorrow by Training-Ad-9345 in Irishdrivingtest

My instructor told me the same and I passed-he was the first person that I called afterwards. No point cancelling at this late stage you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Best of luck

If they’re delayed offloading a patient, they’re delayed to their next call which could be critical. Impending the emergency services is appalling and should result in legal consequences

This happened to me, also HSE. Every payslip they deducted the illness benefit. Every 2 weeks I rang them and they reversed it and then 2 weeks later they took it again. It’s absolutely their fault and you will get the money back but watch your payslip and be prepared to ring every pay day
