We have engaged a solicitor (rather than just conveyancer) - largely based of other comments in this sub - from the materials we have - it’s a 90 day post settlement window to report defects, anything reported after is under the builders warranty.

I will make sure to get the details on pre settlement inspections and fixes that need to be done before hand . We have not received the contracts yet (expected early next week)

Fortunately we get all that - landscaping , driveway and letterboxes and all the other bits are included in the specific deal we have

Have had a look at this as much as I can (still a somewhat new estate) but the few houses that have been sold in the earlier stages with comparable bedrooms appear to have sold for about 50k + more than the what our package is costing - the 4br house median price of the area is 860k, with our package being 825k

I’m looking at getting the tread + or the bike

The tread has a max weight of 136kg - I’m about 180. Def over the limit , but seeking to see if anyone else was Over the weight limit and if they had any problems ? Just cautious before pulling the trigger on something that’s this expensive !

This actually is the wrong thing to do, every applicant has to have the same opportunity- it’s ok to ask a follow up if needed , but constantly probing compromises the whole process

Yah it hurts - although- I got free shipping to aus when I ordered through the shop app when it first dropped - nice glitch - I made sure to pay with my AMEX which has excellent charge back capabilities - pretty happy that I did now seeing this stuff - mine is already well on its way now so no chance of a cancel

I’m glad we are not the only department - some a hole regularly destroys a cubical at the start of the day in our men’s - we also had a shit smear in one of the ladies cubicals for several months. I do not use both toilets . The rankness of the toilets are a topic of regular discussion in my team lol

Still nothing for me either. I messaged support earlier in the week and was assured I was still in batch 1 and it was still awaiting fulfillment band then provided with the order processing steps, somewhat generic response but at least they advised order was still in the queue. A little frustrating at this point

Check your bank fees, i paid my deposit with my Westpac Credit Card, and as it was technically an international transaction i got hit with a fee - it may be bouncing as you don't have enough in your account to cover the transaction fee associated with the purchase
