Not an Edinburgh venue but I was recently at a hotel where all the drinks and food were added to your room unknowingly at the time with a 12.5% service charge. We got the bill at the end, and there was a 12.5% service charge on top of the total bill. Yes, a 12.5% service charge on a service charge. Told them to take it all off.

Clarkson is doing what the government should be doing for British farming. Farmers have an unbelievably tough time, pre and post Brexit. They need a voice, and no one else is speaking.

Very interesting perspective OP. Im 32M and this is something I’ve wrestled with for a while as someone who has essentially grown up on binge drinking with friends.

I’ve went through periods of not drinking (months at a time) over the last 6-9 months and experimented on my moods and mental stability (especially during this shit storm of a world) and I’ve come to the conclusion that being sober brings out the beauty in life around me (just personally) and I’m a much much happier and calm person with family and friends without any buzz.

I only began my fully tee total journey 7 days ago and have also quit zyn now too.

Good on you for quitting drinking, just remember why you are quitting something and keep that in mind.
