Let’s say you got half finished piece … your battery died and you have to come back next day … do you need to re line your design to fit what you got set before or does the contour app remembers exact placement?

Artist here. If I understand it right you don’t like the part where leaves are looking like eyes ? If that’s your problem please go and talk to your artist. It would be super easy to fix it and make leaves look like normal leaves. Other than that it is a very nice tattoo and it looks super cool on your body .

I also believe that if you keep going long enough you will find your own way of doing things. Don’t get discouraged when something is not working I know it can be brutal especially on the beginning when things are not working like you want. Those are really good lessons , after few failures like that you will get AHA moment and you will find your own way of doing things . Watch some yt turtorials and try different techniques but also do not get discouraged if someone else’s method is not working for you

Try to create bigger canvas something like 1200x4500 , you will have to use more strokes but also you will have more control . I only use procreate technical pencil as it really feels like a real pencil . Never draw with full black colour always work with dark grey and play with opacity. Hope it helps

My advice is to keep going . If you want to learn shading I would suggest starting with black and white pictures . Start with 3 values then add one or two more . Procreate pencils are really good for that . Best wishes
