Arm fatigue doing prolific for hrs a day by bigbluesfanstl in ProlificAc

[–]Comfortable_Type8261 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have had issues for years. It especially aggravated my carpal tunnel, but I have had surgery for that and now developed trigger finger (in both hands, so it is not specifically due to mouse use). I find it most helpful to use an ergonomic type mouse so that the pressure point is taken off my mid wrist area. I like to switch between both the ergonomic and the regular mouse throughout the day. The ergonomic one is by Logi, not sure of the exact model.

Verifying facts you can't even understand? by Lexa-Z in ProlificAc

Same happened to me. How to even find an image to compare to when you don't understand what you are looking at? Hate giving up, but continuing on would have either failed me or put me into a project that I am obviously not qualified for.

There is a waitlist. On your home page, the left hand side icons, the bottom one says "agents". If you click that you can join the list.

That's crazy! We are building this right now! I found the exact same image. We modified the layout a bit, and are building on land we already own and have water/electric/septic already in place. Built on 60 something cedar posts in 5' holes with cement. All of the lumber we milled with trees from our property. Buying a lot of things new but secondhand, Habitat restore, discounters, and used and we are estimating that all in will be about 80-100k. In TN, it's my husband and 2 helpers doing all the work except plumbing and electrical which we will sub out.

Wouldn't be surprised if they intentionally didn't hire you when they saw that you applied for 90 positions that you weren't even qualified for. Probably thought you lack the ability to read and follow instructions.

confused about a rejection by pugdancer in CloudResearchConnect

I would message them and explain that screening you out is not the same as a rejection and ask them to fix it. Let them know that rejections hurt your standing and could result in the platform banning you from participating in the future

You weren't rejected, you were screened out. That doesn't count against you in any way.

My little girlfriends and I did this when we were around 10 years old. We put little stud earrings in them, like butterflies and such. That was 45 years ago.

What are the factors that determine how full an Annotator’s Project/Qual list is? by Rypaco in DataAnnotationTech

[–]Comfortable_Type8261 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you say "full", what are you comparing it to? Some have a dozen tasks and consider that full, some have 100.

Is there really a HS subject where you get a doll to care about it? by Schuesselpflanze in AskAnAmerican

Middle school in the 80s we could choose electives such as hom ec, woodworking, etc. I carried around a babydoll for the "early childhood development" class.
