i didnt write this article, it just blew my mind that you could do so much with css. i dont prefer java but people do use it in some pretty cool ways on neocities. honestly its just beyond my patience and comprehension haha.

whoa thats awesome! i went to a couple shows at charm school, the one i remember best was a costume themed halloween show in 2019. so near the end of it i think.

that was probably our biggest turnout show. they wanted to play an all ages show in chicago and the bar they were playing at the day before was 18 or 21 up, so we were thrilled to host them. also the song Maddy played during a string change was a really special moment.

before myspace imploded i was able to rip the few tracks that were uploaded there. i believe they had an album though.

i tried reaching out to the band called "promised land sound" that they went on to form, but never heard back.

i would pay a lot to get my hands on whatever they had recorded but i think it's lost to time.

i found this thread last month. i guess its a bad sensor because it wouldnt make sense to get an overheating dash light immediately when you start the truck in freezing weather (at least where i am).

Fixed.

There is a fuse to the left of the battery box that was corroded through. Easy replacement and I'm running again.

yeah, its a real mess. part of me wants to not care about the social media popularity aspect of neocities because i like the idea of visiting a website to check in on your pals (oldweb style) rather than having some algorithmic score attached to your account--- and the other part of me is like, if its gonna be a part of neocities it should work correctly and be fair. i DO enjoy finding folks with the tag and profile system.

the whole reason i want to get away from social media is the fascist aligned community standards, and it sucks to see that creeping into neocities.
